Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. I earned a BSW from TCU and an MSW from UT Austin - a proud Horned Frog and Longhorn! I live west of Fort Worth with my family and our four dogs. Working in schools, hospitals, in-home, with nonprofits, and in tele-health settings gives me a wide range of experiences and perspectives to draw from when providing services. My focus is offering behavioral health services to individuals who are seeking help with a variety concerns. I look forward to the opportunity to provide support and guidance as you move along your healing path.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You can expect to have a balance of being able to talk about issues that are relevant to you in every session and also have a clear treatment plan where we will be able to measure your progress toward your goals regularly.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness Practice with the option of incorporating technology for assessments and mood monitoring. I take a wholistic approach by considering mind, body, and spirit in my practice so that the treatment focus is multi-faceted in moving toward improvement.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe it is important to listen and understand each individual's concerns and needs so that you are not a diagnosis, but a person in need of assessment and a plan for treatment. I have 21 years of experience working with a multitude of concerns that include depression, anxiety, issues related to aging, adjustment to medical conditions, stress-management, grief/loss, adolescent issues, bipolar disorder, and trauma.
