New to Grow
With 25 years of clinical experience, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where adult clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their healing process. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Our work starts with individualized treatment planning and building coping strategies, followed by exploring and working through unhelpful thoughts and past experiences that continue to influence current emotions, behaviors, and relationships. This process supports greater insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session, the focus is on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from treatment. This session also includes discussing your goals and beginning an individualized treatment plan that fits your needs. It is a supportive space where you can ask questions, share at your own pace, and start building a comfortable therapeutic connection.
What stands out in my therapeutic approach is the combination of structure, collaboration, and depth. I use individualized treatment planning and begin with personalised coping strategies, which helps clients build practical skills and emotional support early in the process. From there, I focus on identifying and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns using CBT, and then move into deeper processing of underlying experiences through EMDR. This stepwise, integrated approach allows the work to feel grounded and paced appropriately—clients are not rushed into reconsolidating past experiences, but instead are supported in building capacity first. I emphasize evidence-based methods and the connection between thoughts, past experiences, and current functioning, with the goal of supporting meaningful and lasting change in emotions, behaviors, and relationships.
I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and unresolved trauma that may be impacting their daily lives, relationships, and overall well-being. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients understand how their thoughts and past experiences influence their emotions, behaviors, and current patterns. I provide a supportive and collaborative environment where clients can develop healthier coping skills, process difficult experiences, and work toward lasting healing and personal growth.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and coping that support emotional well-being and daily functioning. CBT is a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that focuses on building practical skills clients can use both in and outside of sessions.
EMDR
I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process distressing experiences that may continue to affect their emotions, thoughts, and reactions in the present. EMDR helps the brain reprocess traumatic or overwhelming memories in a way that reduces emotional distress and supports healthier beliefs about oneself. Throughout the process, I help clients build coping and grounding skills to ensure they feel supported during treatment.
