What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can anticipate a safe environment to unpack the hard, the easy, and the complicated. After an assessment of what brings the client to counseling, a clear, definitive course of action is collaboratively designed to reach the agreed-upon goals of the client and the therapist.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a midlife-aged therapist, life experience combined with higher education gives the therapeutic process a more well-rounded understanding of the client's needs.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The origins of presenting symptoms can be fundamentally based on one thought process. Once a client's presenting concerns are assessed, a treatment method will be designed to fit the client's specific needs.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT-based approaches address clients' concerns about emotional regulation and impulse control. Once a client's presenting concerns are assessed, a treatment method will be designed to fit the client's specific needs.

Christian Counseling

The incorporation of Christian counseling is only invited into the counseling journey at the request of the client. The therapist's beliefs are intentionally left out of the session to eliminate bias in the counseling experience. Once a client's presenting concerns are assessed, a treatment method will be designed to fit the client's specific needs.

EMDR

EMDR is incorporated into the counseling experience used to treat trauma and attachment, among other presenting concerns. Once a client's presenting concerns are assessed, a treatment method will be designed to fit the client's specific needs.
