I am a skilled and empathetic counselor with over 18 years of experience. I work with a wide variety of clients from the very young to the very experienced. My clients are people who have been struggling, often through many failed attempts, to get their life back on the path they want. I help my clients find their own, unique way to overcome the challenges they are facing be it depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or unexpected changes in life circumstances. I help my clients find their footing and forge their own path towards the future they choose.
My name is Richard Spires, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in individual, couples, marriage, and family therapy. I help clients navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship concerns, grief, and adolescent issues.
I use a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My goal is to create a collaborative and supportive space where we can work together toward meaningful change.
I earned my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2018 and have worked as a mental health professional for over six years. I strongly believe in the power of the therapeutic alliance—that counseling works best when it’s a true partnership.
Having experienced therapy myself, I understand how important it is to feel heard and understood. I take time to get to know each client and approach every session with empathy, curiosity, and genuine care. Whenever you’re ready to talk, I’m ready to listen.

Since becoming a counselor, I have worked in a variety of community counseling settings. I have worked with clients from ages 3 through 80 and with individuals, couples, and families. With that breadth of experience, very little shocks or surprises me and I have gotten a pretty good sense of where the types of counseling that play to my strengths as a counselor overlap with the types of counseling that are helpful for my clients. This sense (along with learning about lots and lots of research into what helps people find and maintain mental health) has led to the following guiding principles that shape all the counseling I do:
1) The client is always in charge. I know a lot of things but you will always be the one who decides what you want to get out of counseling, how we work towards that goal, whether or not what we’re doing seems to be working, and when we’re done.
2) Change and health happen through relationships. No matter what you come in for, there are always relational implications of change and relational factors that contribute to whatever it is that you came to counseling to change.
3) Counseling should be efficient. Counseling has significant costs in time and money. I think the benefits far outweigh the costs but if I can give you the benefits while helping you save on the costs then I want to do that.

Hello, I am Dr. Walter Calvo and I have two questions for you.
Are you interested in learning why you think and feel the way you do?
How about learning why you choose to do the things that you do?
I can help you learn coping skills to address common life challenges such as adjusting to change, managing conflict, reducing stress, improving relationships, and coping with grief. Equally important, I can help you process your emotional responses to distressing life circumstances.
I also provide psychotherapy to address acute trauma, post-traumatic stress, anxiety and depression. My experience in this area comes from working with active-duty military, veterans, and first responders such as law enforcement, firefighters, emergency medical responders and their families.
Gaining insight into why you think and feel the way you do is empowering. It will put you on a path to becoming the best version of yourself.
If you are interested in any of that, let's talk!

Hi, I’m Abel. I know firsthand how ADHD can shape your life — not just in focus and productivity, but in emotions, confidence, and relationships. I was diagnosed in my 30s, and it helped me make sense of years of struggles with organization, responsibilities, and executive functioning. But what surprised me most was how profoundly ADHD impacts relationships, especially marriage. That’s why I believe therapy for ADHD has to go beyond productivity — it has to address how ADHD affects the people you love most.
As a husband of 13 years, a father, and a family man, I understand the quiet pressures many men carry. I also know how relationships require vulnerability, balance, and teamwork. My wife and I work hard at our own marriage, especially in navigating ADHD together. That lived experience shapes the way I support couples and men in therapy: with honesty, compassion, and strategies that work in the real world.
I’ve also wrestled with body image and self-worth challenges after years of being overweight. Through hard work, I reached a healthy weight and learned firsthand how self-care directly strengthens self-worth. This experience fuels my commitment to helping clients build healthier, more grounded relationships with themselves.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of North Dakota and have been practicing for 10 years. I specialize in CBT, Structural Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, Anger Management, and Grief Counseling, I offer a client-centered approach emphasizing empathy, process, and relatability. By collaboratively addressing mental health and relational well-being, I empower clients to navigate challenges, build resilience, and foster positive change in a supportive therapeutic environment.
Welcome my friends. I’m a combat veteran and retired Army officer, a devout Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and experienced clinical psychologist. I want to get into the root causes of your battle and find ways to overcome, change, forgive, accept, and move upward toward the light. It may not seem like it, but the darkness will eventually lift, and the light will surely shine again.
Life is a battle in the heart, and I humbly accept that I will be in my own battle or someone else’s battle for the rest of my life. Like the weather, our emotions are powerful. Many days the sun shines, but the rains do come and sometimes a destructive storm hits hard (divorce, the loss of a loved one, cancer, suicidal thoughts, et cetera). It's a battlefield. When it comes to the challenge of relationships, so often, it is ego (pride), self-esteem, and powerful emotions at the root of our conflicts. To understand these forces is the key to peace. Let's work through it!
I have been honored to be in the field of psychology for 20 years since 2004. Through the years, more than half of my time was in the Army where I primarily worked with soldiers enduring anxiety, depression, trauma, Traumatic Brain Injury, and all the other usual suspects of psychological distress. It is time well spent to analyze our guilt, fear, worry, shame, pain, heartbreak, addiction, identity conflicts, and sorrow. I’ve also worked in the prisons for many years with some extreme situations (i.e., murder, severe mental illness, rape, child molestation, drug kingpins, gang leaders). So, no matter what your circumstances are, never quit and never give up! Survival is a noble plight!
Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired, but unsure what to do about it? Does anxiety, depression, or other life conditions keep you from being your best? If so, I may be able to assist you in your growth and development along your healing journey.
I serve to empower my clients and assist them in working through and overcoming their mental and behavioral health struggles.
I have 20+ years of experience in helping clients with recovery from trauma and abuse, stress, anxiety, depression, coping with addictions, and anger management. I will work with you to create an open and safe environment where your thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I appreciate you for demonstrating your worth and value as you begin your healing journey.

I witness people in their present predicaments and tell them what I see and feel. Acknowledgement of pain, a counterintuitive process, is the secret sauce of ordering our lives into functional, fun, and life-affirming behaviors. The process of emotional healing takes time, dedication, and practice. Willingness to feel what has been unfelt and to voice what has been unsaid will help you see positive changes in your life.
Life can be very hard and extremely unfair. In today's world, almost everyone is dealing with anxiety, depression or both. Discovering what lies behind those responses is crucial. How do you deal with that and create the best life that you can have? Are your obstacles, difficulties or habits keeping you down? If so, I believe that we can work together to overcome the obstacles, the deal with the difficulties and create new habits that will be more beneficial for you.
I want to empower you to feel better about your situation and to be in more control of it.
I spent 5 years teaching middle school and then 18 years teaching high school along my journey to being a Licensed Professional Counselor. My wife and I married in 1984 and raised 3 children. I was raised in a dysfunctional household. I have a lot of life experience to bring to the table in assisting you.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and reside in Texas, I am also licensed in Colorado, Florida, Utah, South Carolina, and Vermont. I specialize in helping you identify and overcome issues that hinder your day-to-day enjoyment of life and/or interfere with progress towards goals you have set. In over thirty years of private practice counseling I have learned to meet clients’ needs not only with continued education and research but also through a multitude of life experiences. I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients and have found that humor when utilized in an appropriate way and time can be very beneficial.
I believe trust is a fundamental element in any relationship. This trust has to be developed and nurtured to remain genuine. Through trust other aspects important to the relationship can prosper such as comfort in being open, sincerity, and a willingness to change. I find that humor when utilized in an appropriate way and time can be very beneficial. I am a life-long Texan, however, I have traveled extensively and embraced many different cultures and location specific issues. Through all of life’s changes I have learned that, even with the best of plans, things still do not always work out the way we would like. I have experienced many of the same issues as my clients so can relate to them on a personal basis. This has also allowed me to acquire an understanding of what clients may be going through even if I have not experienced the exact situation. Through any adversity there is no reason to feel alone.

Hi! Hola, I’m Israel.
Do you ever feel like no one listens to what you have to say or that no one understands you; especially your parents? Not to worry, that’s where I come in. I enjoy working with youth in helping them understand their emotions or how to get along with their parents, teachers and/or friends. Sometimes it can be difficult to express our emotions, talk to people or just navigate this hectic young life. I've been working with young people and helping them find their way for 12 years. It may take a few sessions; however, we will get there together.
Let’s work together!
I have over a decade of experience treating clients at the clinical level. As a former Army Chaplain, I have assisted Soldier and Family members in the most extreme circumstances - to include combat. As a fellow human being, I meet my clients on common ground to assist them in gaining traction and moving forward. I come beside people to help them see their strengths, capabilities, and new possibilities. I help people to find a ray of hope when their life is stuck at the midnight hour.
Are there things in your life that you want to change to be happier, feel better about yourself, come to terms with things from the past, or have better relationships with others? If you do, I believe that counseling can help you achieve the kind of life you want to have.
I'm a clinical psychologist specializing in treatment of post traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression. I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist and I am trained in multiple types of therapies.
I'm originally from Oregon, but I have spent most of my adult life in Texas and a few years overseas in Asia and Europe. In addition to private practice, I have been a military psychologist, Veterans Affairs psychologist, PTSD clinic director, Psycho-Social Rehabilitation clinic director, and adjunct clinical assistant professor at UT Health medical school, as well as participating in major research projects in treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder. I believe that therapy is a science as well as an art, and I have found that my knowledge of clinical research can greatly improve the results of counseling. I have found that counseling can be very effective at helping people make the kinds of changes that they desire in their lives, help them to have a healthier sense of self, more satisfying relationships with others, and a better quality of life.
I'm confident that you can meet your goals with a bit of work and the right treatment plan.
Howdy! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of Southern Mississippi. My name is Mark Chaney. I provide counseling and counseling-related services for children, adolescents, adults, and families together. I have 15 + years of accumulative training and experience in the fields of mental health, trauma, domestic violence, foster care and adoption. Some clients I see are experiencing short-term stressors while others are experiencing longer-term mental health disturbances. For individual therapy, I generally treat adults and adolescents ages 12 and older. For children younger than 12, or for adolescents otherwise not appropriate for telehealth, It may be recommended to address concerns in the form of family therapy. I use an integrated model that build upon a persons existing beliefs, strategies and virtues, and I work with individuals and families experiencing a wide array of presenting concerns.
I am a life long student of philosophy. I enjoy reading, writing, painting, drawing, sculpture and playing music. I find peace in the outdoors and camping, inspiration in community collaboration, and I am passionate about psychotherapy. It has been my great privilege to walk with people as they unlock the resources they need to stabilize and grow. I believe that community stigma around mental health is reduced as individuals call on the courage to seek help.

In an atmosphere of acceptance, I will establish and maintain a trusting
relationship to promote your growth and self-direction. I use brief
cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques to assist you with your anxiety,
stress, depression and relationship conflicts.
I provide an environment to help you facilitate your emotional growth.

make your own decisions by sharing ideas in a caring relationship.

I primarily work with adolescents, emerging adults, and young professionals on improving self-image, anxiety, depression, identity, and relationships. I value working with folks from all walks of life; "y'all means all."
I've been working in collegiate mental health and marital/relational counseling for 8 years. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I have the privilege to train and supervise student therapists. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion education is an important part of my professional identity. Our cultural experiences, values, beliefs, and identities are central to who we are and important aspects of our social and emotional health.
Outside of work, I am a nerd who enjoys comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, video games, and anime. Most of my down time is spent reading, playing games with friends, and spending time with my 8 year old Australian Shepherd mix, Joan Rivers.
