(he/him)
Hi, my name is Chude Muonelo. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping you Be The Next Best Version of Your Self you can be! With over a decade of experience in the helping profession, I utilize a variety of different therapeutic approaches to help you “hack your mind” to be the best you can be. Some techniques focus on healing from the past, others, present issues, and others, helping you move to move forward into a brighter future. I meet you where you are.
In our first session, I’ll spend time getting to know you, getting in touch with your story, what’s going on, and how I can help.
Empathy. I truly like to see the world from your perspective, journeying with you as I hop in the passenger’s seat and let you drive, only offering directions when you ask for them.
While I am admittedly best positioned to serve either high IQ or top-performers, I am open to working with people of all backgrounds and levels. The reason for this, is that I see each person as a story——a reality tv show, sitcom, or movie that is gradually unfolding. While you might argue I prefer a certain genre, I would respond by saying “not only do I prefer all genres, what drives me the most crazy is rarely getting to see how the movies end”. So whether it’s workplace stress bothering you, stress from current world events or your personal life, a failed relationship, or even the loss of a loved one, I am here to help!

Eclectic
I use a variety of treatment methods. This would be considered an eclectic approach. I don't think counseling is about technique, but connection and empathy. True change and growth comes through relationship, sharing, and contact with the human experience. Being valued. Being heard. Being understood. From there we can draw upon my wealth of experience with techniques and theories to elicit the changes/growth within you which you desire. I have over a decade of experience in the field.
