New to Grow
I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 12 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. My practice is grounded in compassion, warmth, respect, and a deep belief in your capacity for growth and healing. I believe that healing happens within a safe, nonjudgmental relationship, where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Together, we’ll work to explore the challenges you’re facing, uncover underlying patterns, and develop tools that empower you to live with greater clarity, confidence, and connection.
In our first session, I'll start with an introductory session where you can feel comfortable sharing your story, your life experiences, and what brings you to therapy. This first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to ask questions, express your goals, and begin to explore what healing or growth might look like for you. There’s no pressure, just a supportive space where you can be yourself and feel heard.
My greatest strength as a clinician is my ability to offer genuine empathy and create a warm, supportive therapeutic environment. I am able to build rapport quickly, which helps clients feel heard, understood, and safe in the therapeutic space. I strive to meet clients where they are and provide a nonjudgmental presence that supports openness, trust, and meaningful engagement in the therapeutic process.
My ideal client is someone who is motivated for change and personal growth, even if they are still navigating uncertainty about where to start. I work well with individuals who are seeking to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and who are open to exploring patterns that may be impacting their daily functioning. I enjoy supporting clients as they build insight and develop practical coping skills that help them manage challenges more effectively and move toward meaningful, values-based goals.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my work with clients, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help them understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful or automatic thought patterns and explore how these influence emotional responses and actions. I support clients in challenging and reframing these thoughts in a more balanced and realistic way, while also practicing new coping strategies and behaviors outside of session to reinforce change.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
In my work with clients, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help them build awareness of their thoughts and feelings without needing to fight or avoid them. We practice noticing internal experiences with openness and acceptance, while also reducing the struggle with difficult emotions.
Motivational Interviewing
In my work with clients, I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help them explore and resolve ambivalence about change in a supportive and non-judgmental way. I use open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations to better understand their perspective and strengthen their own motivation for change.
