I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who works with couples and adolescents during some of life’s most overwhelming moments. I specialize in teen crisis concerns, including self-harm, suicidal thoughts, behavioral difficulties, and psychosis, as well as relationship distress within couples and families. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling scared, exhausted, or unsure how to help themselves or their loved ones. I aim to create a space where clients feel understood and supported while we work toward meaningful, lasting change.
Our first session will mostly be me listening to you share your experience and how you see the problem. It is a time to build our relationship and gather information. I will ask about the current problem, family history, current stressors, current supports, and what your goals are.
For me, therapy is about relationship. It is an encounter between people pursuing personal growth. I grow with my clients to help them achieve their goals. Therapy with me is a balance between lighthearted and serious, joyful and sad. I make room for all aspects of human experience.
I help clients experiencing difficulties in their relationship with their spouse, a crisis with their teenager, or who want healing from trauma. Clients who do well with me are open to trying new things and are motivated for change. I work well with clients looking for more than a band-aid approach. I enjoy helping clients achieve healing and long-lasting results.

I have been successfully working with couples for years. In couples counseling I provide an environment of understanding and nonjudgement to help repair broken relationships.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I use EFT most often when providing couples and family therapy. This model has helped many clients understand emotional patterns in their relationships and change them to repair distance and conflict in relationships.
EMDR
I am trained in EMDR, which is one of the best treatments for PTSD and trauma. It is also highly effective for individuals with difficult-to-control thoughts.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I often use Solution Focused therapy when seeing clients individually. This approach is effective for helping clients create and achieve clear goals in an effective manner.
