Dr. Nina Enriquez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing psychotherapy for over 13 years. I received my doctorate from USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. You will find I am a pretty laid back individual yet I will challenge your awareness to reflect and learn why we behave the way we do. This helps to create positive change. I work with individuals of all ages. I provide individual, family, and couples therapy sessions. I specialize in the area of grief, loss, traumatic grief and traumatic bereavement. We will all experience loss in our lives. Loss of health, lifestyle, divorce, a break-up, self-image, identity, trust, faith, death and much more. Grief is a natural response to loss but when we don't know how to manage or cope from grief, we may be at risk of developing a mental health disorder. In therapy, telling your story is vital to growth. Your story is important to express, release and find the root cause that lead to the challenges you have faced in life. Another vital component of therapy is increasing your awareness of the strengths you have. A crisis or stressful event may blind us from strengths we used before to overcome. You will learn different coping strategies and will provide handouts plus worksheets. This is to help you begin to take the steps in self-discovery, reflection, and find the person who were are truly meant to be.

As a licensed marriage and family therapist I have particular experience and training in understanding individuals in the context of their relationships, families, and social identities. Sometimes our distress isn't just about what we're doing or not doing. Oftentimes, it's about how we move through the world in our social identities and how the world perceives and interacts with us so I want you to be able to talk about that in therapy. I can relate and find it meaningful to work with individuals suffering from anxiety. Anxiety can be crippling and paralyzing, causing us to overthink which can get in the way of so many things in life from accomplishing goals, trying new things, socializing, sleeping or even smaller things that add up until you're overwhelmed with them, like answering the phone or checking your mail. If you're feeling misunderstood, like you can't be yourself, anxious, worried, or trapped in repeating patterns that are causing you pain, I will join you where you are and we can work together to help you create a secure sense of self, and restore and improve relationships.

I work with high-functioning adults who look like they have it together and are quietly running on empty — people whose competence has become the thing they hide behind. If you hold yourself to standards nobody else could meet, if your worth feels like something you have to earn, if you can't rest without guilt, we'll likely work well together. My foundation is TEAM-CBT, an evidence-based approach I hold Level 3 Advanced certification in through the Feeling Good Institute, and I train regularly with the Beck Institute. It gives our work real structure and proven tools. But symptoms usually rest on something older — beliefs about what you have to be in order to be worth something, patterns in how you relate, things you've learned to think your way around instead of feel. So we don't stop at coping strategies. We work toward what's underneath. I see clients virtually across Virginia, Florida, and Texas.

Hello. Thank you for considering me! You are, above all things, a human being and to be human is a wild experience. I think most of us are doing the best we can with what we have to work with, and you should be proud of yourself for your willingness to learn more. I see therapy as a process that organically unfolds towards deeper understanding and acceptance of who we are and what life is; from here we can shift how we relate to ourselves and life. My approach is grounded in humanistic, dynamic and holistic therapies. I often focus on the impacts of previous experiences, particularly childhood as early experiences set the foundation we use to navigate our lives.

My approach gently integrates Christian & Catholic values for those who wish to include faith as part of their healing journey, honoring the mind, body, & spirit. Hi. I'm Steve. Do you ever wonder why, no matter how many different things you've tried, you fall back into old behaviors that hurt you and/or those you love? Do you wonder why your emotions take over and leave you feeling incapable or overwhelmed? Do your emotions get in the way of effectively communicating when it matters the most? We all face questions like this, and the most fulfilling part of my work is helping people like you find answers to those questions. I don’t have any “one-size-fits-all” solutions, but together we will work to identify what drives your responses and what you can do to make lasting changes. We will work to help you anticipate and prevent issues before they appear, to feel emotional intensity rising and calm it down, and to exit stressful situations before doing or saying something you’ll regret. I don’t believe that our worst moments define us. I DO believe that each of us is capable of overcoming past struggles and finding a new path. I look forward to working with you as you try to find yours.

Hi, I’m Fatima. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, vulnerable, and sometimes even scary, so I strive to create a space where you can truly feel safe, heard, and accepted without judgment. My passion is helping people reconnect with themselves, heal emotionally, and build healthier relationships with both themselves and others. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, relationship struggles, intimacy concerns, trauma, self-esteem issues, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy helping people who feel emotionally exhausted, misunderstood, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they no longer want to carry. My approach is warm, authentic, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed. I believe healing is not about pretending to have it all together — it’s about learning to understand yourself with compassion while creating healthier ways to cope, communicate, connect, and grow. I integrate approaches like CBT, EFT, attachment-focused work, and emotional regulation tools, while always tailoring therapy to the unique needs of the person sitting in front of me. As someone who deeply values authenticity, emotional safety, and meaningful connection, I want clients to feel comfortable showing up as their real selves in session. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and more aligned with who you truly are while helping you move toward healing, confidence, balance, and connection.

I work with clients who want to improve the way they experience life. The desire for better relationships with themselves and with others, and to gain a sense of purpose and meaning. I’ve always been interested in what drives people and believe that we can usually discover what is best for ourselves if we slow down, take the time to think things through, talk about it with a person we trust, and express the feelings we have in healthy ways—even the negative ones we may try to avoid. I use a number of therapeutic modalities in my practice, which connect thoughts to feelings and feelings to thoughts, enabling my clients to change and grow in the positive direction that they might envision for themselves. I work with clients who have struggled with addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, relationship separation, internal conflict and conflict with others, grief and loss, and other transitions and adjustment issues. I have completed Gottman trainings, as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy, which offers a structured approach and an emotional map for couples or individuals to learn how successful couples make their relationships last and how to handle conflict in a way that prevents damage to the relationship and helps them feel better connected to their partner. I am also trained in EMDR, a therapy designed to help a person unlock their nervous system to recover from trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other problems that can take hold.

Hello, I am Shari. Are you looking for someone you can feel safe to address your needs and not feel judged? Are you looking for someone authentic and supportive? Are you having difficulty finding someone who will be honest and direct? I work well with anyone who is motivated to start addressing their concerns right away. I believe finding the right therapist can be challenging, but it should not be a barrier to getting help. Finding a therapist should feel comfortable and natural. I am told I have a way of helping people feel as if they have known me before. I like to get an understanding of the source of your problem. Then together we explore how the source influences your thinking. People live life through their experiences which do not always serve us very well in today's time. I also believe in working from a holistic approach. Did you know our daily routines can prolong your recovery or cause mental instability? I have experienced being in a therapeutic relationship and believe in normalizing the need to get help in this way.

I’m Janet Worley, LMFT and founder of Worley Wellness Counseling. I work with couples and individuals navigating relationship stress, communication struggles, emotional disconnection, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with care deeply about their relationships but feel stuck in painful patterns that leave them feeling hurt, misunderstood, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, practical, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to be vulnerable, and empowered enough to create meaningful change. Rather than offering judgment or one-size-fits-all advice, I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and challenged toward growth. A large part of my work focuses on helping people understand the deeper patterns underneath conflict and distress. Whether you find yourself caught in recurring arguments, struggling to communicate, feeling emotionally disconnected, or carrying wounds that continue to impact your relationships, therapy can help bring clarity and create new ways of relating. I use an integrative approach that blends attachment-focused work, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method interventions, DBT-informed skills, and practical problem-solving strategies. This allows us to explore not only what is happening, but why it is happening and how to begin changing it. My goal is to help couples and individuals move beyond conflict, disconnection, and unhealthy patterns toward greater understanding, emotional safety, stronger communication, and more fulfilling relationships—with others and with themselves. I believe healing and change are possible, and you do not have to figure it all out alone.

We will laugh! We will discover! We will create a plan for change! Intakes are 30 minutes. But regular sessions are 45-55 minutes! Let’s try to get through this challenging time in your life, together! I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I can't wait to embark on this journey of healing discovery with you! BTW, I am "booked up" for couples and family therapy. I'm Anabel, a clinical social worker and certified trauma therapist in TX and WA states. I work with people who are really good at holding it all together — until they're not. If you're exhausted in a way that's hard to explain, carrying more than your share, and wondering if this is just what life feels like now — this is the space I built for that. I work with adults who are holding everything together — managing responsibilities, relationships, and internal pressure — while quietly wondering why it all still feels so hard. My practice, Surviving to Thriving, exists for people who are ready to stop white-knuckling their way through life and start actually living it.

Maybe you keep having the same frustrating conversations with your partner and nothing ever really gets resolved. Trust may have been broken, you may feel lonely even when you’re together, or you may be questioning whether your relationship can actually get better. Or perhaps you’ve survived an abusive or traumatic relationship and find that what happened still affects how safe you feel, how you trust, and how you see yourself. I’m an LMFT and LPC with over a decade of experience helping adults and couples navigate relationship difficulties, trauma and PTSD, domestic violence and abusive relationship dynamics, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions. I also specialize in women’s and reproductive mental health, including infertility and TTC, pregnancy loss, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the transition to motherhood. My style is warm and compassionate, but I’m also an active therapist. I won’t simply listen and send you on your way. I’ll help you recognize patterns, understand what’s underneath them, and give you honest feedback and practical tools to help you create meaningful change.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
