I work with individuals, families, and couples on developing new pathways toward mental health. Each therapy session is unique. However, my aim is to help you create a healthy basis of self-reflection with the intention of creating new ways of approaching your past, present, and future. I specialize in working with clients who are social justice minded, and I work well with client's who are LBGTQ+ and or BIPOC.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I work with clients from a "person-centered" frame work. You are the expert on your story, and I am here to guide you towards results. I consult frequently with my clients during their therapy with me. While you may not come into therapy knowing exactly what you want, you should leave the first session with a strong impression of how we will work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I graduated from Dominican University of California in 2019 where I trained in both classic and emerging theoretical orientations. Since then, I have landed in mindfulness-based and somatic-based practices as a core focus. I have a strong commitment to upholding diversity in my work, with an emphasis on social justice and racial justice-alliance building. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, families, and couples.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I like to pride myself in meeting clients where they are at, making me available to many different demsgraphics. That being said, I am person with my own lived history and experience. I tend to be an especially good fit for the following demographics: LGBTQ+ and gender diverse clients, BIPOC clients, clients that are involved in social justice work, and adult clients 19-50 years of age.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I believe that our ability to cope with the present is a strong determinant of wellness.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I have had success treating couples' with EFT through the introduction of a few simple, relatable concepts.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is often misunderstood, largely because it is not always explained with the individual in mind.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

The basis of any client report is understanding where the client is coming from.
