Hello! My name is Max Croteau and I have had the pleasure of being a licensed professional counselor for almost 10 years now. In this time, I have been able to mold my style of understanding, accepting while also challenging and motivational into a successful model of growth and change for those who choose to work with me. I truly am a believer that therapy can sometimes be a side-by-side process, or it can be a process where one guides and the other follows, but ultimately the choice is up to you. I don’t want you to live a life that I tell you to live. I want to help you find a life that is truly a genuine fit for yourself and one that you can see yourself living without even having to think about it. I’ve specialized in addiction, OCD, trauma therapy, family and couples counseling and various other topics in the world of mental health. One important factor that I have found is that each person has their own individual story and their journey will be just as individualized. No matter how similar, we are all different. A cookie cutter approach to the rest of your life is not something that you will get from me. I will truly meet you where you are and work with you every step of the way to achieve the success that you are looking for. I always guarantee every person I work with that therapy may not be easy, but in the end, it will be incredibly worthwhile. I’d love to start and/or continue that journey. Growth has no final destination, just the journey. It’s up to you what path you’d like to take.

I have been a therapist for years, and have spent a great deal of time helping those who have experienced trauma. I love working with people and have a special place in my heart for the Arts and Music. For many years I owned a woodcraft and ceramic business and continue to keep crafts close to me. I also love music and love to play the organ, piano, and guitar. I was a non-traditional student and received my bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology in 1996 from East Stroudsburg University, then raised my own three children for a while. I returned to school and completed my master's degree in Social Work in 2020 from Capella University. I currently hold an LCSW in PA. I have taken many additional trainings in Trauma-informed counseling, DBT, EMDR, and of course crafts/painting. Helping folks care for themselves is extremely important in life’s struggles, and sharing the heart's desires helps us all navigate the world. It is with great anticipation that I get to know the uniqueness of you in a holistic environment where we can work on reaching the heights of your passion. I hope all my folks find me supportive and comforting on their journey in life. We can do this! See you soon!

Opening up to anyone, let alone a therapist you are just beginning a relationship with, can be scary. However, it is also the first step of healing and I would be honored to help you through the therapeutic process with immense trust, empathy and understanding. Through my experience working with various populations, all going through some of life’s greatest pains, I aim to provide a safe space for my clients. A safe space where they can explore the complexities of their pasts, the melting pot of their emotions, and the truths of their realities. By utilizing mediation and grounding techniques, we uncover what the authentic self means to each individual and journey towards achieving that in daily life. As a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, I am now an LCSW who specializes in working with children, teens, and adults working to overcome stressors in their lives. I have extensive experience working with families in the medical setting as well as individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, living with or being affected by someone living with a chronic/terminal illness, grief & loss and difficult relationship dynamics. I strive to be an open and welcoming sounding board who listens without judgment and responds with empathy. It would be a great gift to work with you and help you find strengths, overcome challenges, develop coping strategies and focus on creating a happy, healthier you. My therapy practice is online, using video sessions via a secure platform. Hey there, I’m Chris! Do you feel like you’re giving everything you’ve got and still never enough? Maybe burnout, ADHD, Autism, or Trauma leaves you stuck in cycles of people-pleasing, emotional reactivity, or shutdown. It can feel exhausting to keep pushing forward when daily life, relationships, or work feel so overwhelming! You’re not alone. Many of my clients describe themselves as driven, perfectionistic, or “always on,” yet deep down they’re exhausted, misunderstood, and longing for things to feel easier. If you’ve been told to “just try harder” or “get it together,” I want you to know, there’s another way. I’m a licensed counselor with 21+ years of experience; I also know these struggles personally! Diagnosed w/ADHD at 36 & raising three kids with ADHD (one with Autism), I know how isolating it feels when the world wasn’t made for your brain or nervous system. I am compassionate & collaborative; clients say it feels like the first time therapy made sense. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing who you are; it’s about understanding yourself, building strategies that actually work for your life, and creating space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and have been working in the field for approximately five years. I have a master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy, so it is not uncommon for me to provide family and couple's therapy in addition to individual therapy. I treat a number of disorders and issues including but not limited to: ADHD, anger, anxiety, autism, behavioral disorders, depression, family difficulties, OCD, PTSD and other trauma disorders, relationship difficulties, and social anxiety. I am trained in EMDR and working toward certification for EMDR. EMDR is helpful, especially for individuals with a history of trauma or other experiences found distressing, as it helps people change the way the brain has stored the traumatic or distressing memory so that it no longer has the same negative impact on the individual. I aim to build a strong therapeutic rapport with clients as this is beneficial to treatment and, often, helps expedite treatment. I take into account the unique experience of each individual and offer a safe space free of judgement for clients to feel heard.

Welcome to our space! In our time together we will address your concerns, as well as explore and highlight your personal strengths and attributes. I feel this is something we all neglect and these can be very empowering and key to working through our daily stressors. My style as a therapist is eclectic and energetic. Therapy can be a potent experience, but I am here to help accommodate the tears, toil, frustration, humor and other emotions that you cannot or may not wish to share with others. The world, our jobs, finances, and other obstacles are some of the many things that can zap our valuable mental and physical energy in a day. Burnout is more real now than ever before. Coming here is a way to recharge yourself so that you can be more present in the most important areas of your life and enjoy it in the process. We work together to develop skills and outlets in which to manage these stressors. You can become the most positive, healthy version of yourself. I welcome the pleasure of working with people from many different cultures and backgrounds, and I am an avid supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community. Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have been working 100 percent virtually. This direction in therapy has allowed me to interact with more people that are not within my geographical location. When a person is in an environment where they feel most comfortable, they are better able to express themselves. My source of empowerment comes from my husband and our enjoyment in caring for our animals. We have a good start on a boring zoo.. (dogs, cats, chickens, fish). They are my reason for working from home. For me, being outdoors and caring for animals is very therapeutic as well as rewarding.

The late poet Maya Angelou quoted, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you”. This quote holds a powerful message to those interested in a therapeutic relationship. There is no substitute in the act for good therapy. It is where vulnerability and courage cross paths. Therapy offers a safe place to take the mask off, and explore new ways to establish living healthily. Susan is passionate about healing communities and families. Susan's work is centered on our identity in Christ, meeting everyone at the cross, and offering an abundance of grace. Susan’s level of experience has over 10 years working in a therapeutic environment and counseling center. She offers an approach that integrates Christianity and the models of psychology. At her core, her interventions commonly used are attachment-based therapy, goal-setting, inner child work, differentiation, Core Emotions, DBT skills, mindfulness, modeling and EMDR trauma therapy. Susan's primary area of work has been focused on trauma. She is an EMDR level 2 therapist and has worked alongside victims of domestic violence, grief and loss, marital crisis, suicide, addiction, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and soul repair. She has worked extensively with both complex and single incident traumas. Susan has experience in youth leadership and mentoring. Susan is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, completed AAMFT 30-Hour Supervision training and is certified in pastoral care counseling for soul care, trauma and abuse, domestic violence, marriage and family counseling, children, and counseling for women. Susan is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.

As a therapist, the most important aspect of therapy is working together to create goals for therapy and create a path for meaningful change. Change is an element that is uncomfortable to most people, but by working together, we can establish lasting change through the use of each individuals strengths and by providing support. My approach is practical, I work from a cognitive perspective using cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical therapy, exposure response prevention, and positive psychology.

Hi! I'm a licensed professional counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania, and I've been practicing since 2020, specializing in OCD and anxiety-reated disorders. I believe that effective therapy includes an appropriate balance of empathy, humor, active listening, and empowerment. Through proper guidance rooted in evidence-based practices, I utilize an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment according to the specific needs of each individual. My treatment approach typically involves three phases: building insight and awareness around delineating between OCD-related intrusive thoughts and your own logical thought processes; developing skills to appropriately manage and dismiss intrusive thoughts and compulsive urges; and ultimately structuring effective, yet manageable, exposures to incrementally build distress tolerance and systematically desensitize to triggering experiences. While our work together will focus on addressing OCD and anxiety-related issues, I intend to utilize a holistic approach necessary in treating the whole person, which may include family work as well. My primary goal is to help clients realize happy, healthy, fulfilling lives by taking their freedom back from the binds of OCD and anxiety. I aim to work in a creative, collaborative environment while cultivating meaningful relationships with my clients. I find it extremely rewarding to help people who are struggling with OCD and anxiety, as progress is often consistent and evident. As they say – if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life!
