With 20+ years of experience, I can offer you various tools to help you on your journey. I've raised six children and I can offer empathy and understanding of family life very effectively. I strongly believe that assisting someone make choices is the best way to feel better. I have worked with individuals, couples and parents/ families. In a non-judgmental environment, we can explore avenues that you as the client present. I am experienced in EMDR (Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing) used most effectively with trauma. If you seek a counselor that is direct and real, look no further because I am that person.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will start with brief introductions then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. We will determine if we have the 'chemistry' to experience successful counseling. These sessions are for you, the client ,and you will determine how to proceed and what you want to talk about.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My biggest strength lies in my many years of experience dealing with an enormous amount different experiences. I use a number of 'tools' and I think out-of-the-box. I am quirky direct and different. If ordinary is what you seek, I am not that person.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Those clients with depression, anxiety, and trauma are the population I am best suited to support. For those seeking couple's counseling, I have found it to be most effective when client's are dedicated to doing the hard work. I also have provided counseling to the LGBTQ community.
