Hi there, I'm Tiff. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of helping profession experience. My hope is as your therapist to be a breath of fresh air during this difficult time. I believe in treating everyone with respect, dignity and compassion. My goal is to provide a non-judgmental, empathetic space where you feel comfortable and safe. I have worked with all age groups including adults, older adults, kids and teens. I specialize in grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, ADHD, mood disorders, anger and stress management.
The first session is all about getting to know one another. The client can expect some questions about their symptoms but this is also a time for the client to ask questions of the therapist. Therapy is about relationships and it is important for my clients to feel comfortable and to trust me.
I use a strength-based approach with the help of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Therapy, as well as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I also offer Family Therapy when the client feels that there are certain issues that would be best worked out in a family setting.
My approach to therapy is warm, interactive and accepting. My biggest strength is my ability to connect and build relationships with individuals on a deeper level. I create an environment where clients feel comfortable, safe and empowered. I am truly interested in wanting to help you in your recovery to have a happier, healthier life today.
I love working with a variety of ages groups. I currently work with kids ages 6 and up, teens, and adults.
