About me

Hi! My name is Brooke and I've been in the field for about 8 years. I have worked with many individuals in the past and many were successful in meeting their therapeutic goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative effort and I would love to help you reach the goals you have for yourself. If you're reading this you have already taken a courageous first step in healing!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions and start looking at the barriers you feel you are facing. A treatment plan will be created in collaboration with both you and myself and we will discuss what goals you can begin working on in order to start feeling better.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I've worked with children, adolescents, and adults on many different issues. I feel grateful to be a part of the journey with others as they work toward bettering their mental health and wellness.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Clients that I enjoy working with are clients that are motivated to change whatever it is that they feel is holding them back from having a healthier and happier life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have an eclectic approach but like using CBT to help treat a wide variety of issues such as depression and anxiety disorders as well as relationship issues and substance use issues. CBT finds faulty thinking and attempts to change or challenge these thoughts to create healthier patterns of thought and behavior.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I enjoy using TF CBT when a client is struggling with PTSD or unresolved trauma. Challenging "stuck points" are discussed as well as providing psychoeducation regarding how the brain operates during periods of stress after a traumatic event. Self-regulation skills are discussed as well as relaxation skills to help relax both the body and mind.

Brooke is an amazing therapist-- she always asks questions and listens. It doesn't matter how long ago we talked about something, she remembers it. You can tell she cares about what you're saying and how you feel. I could not be more happier with her as my therapist and I HIGHLY recommend her.
