My name is Gary Youssef and I have been providing mental/behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults and families for 25+ years. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing mental/behavioral health issues impacting children and adults such as: career/school stressors, depression, anxiety, relational issues, parenting, family systems, medical challenges, healthy lifestyles, etc. I worked for 14 years as a therapist and program manager at the central outpatient psychiatry clinic at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego which is ranked as one of the top 10 children's hospitals in the United States by U.S. News and World report. I have helped provide behavioral health services for over 10,000 children, adults and families throughout San Diego County. In addition, I helped support U.S. service members and their families while working as a military family life counselor at Naval Medical Center-San Diego in Pediatrics. I also volunteered at San Diego Unified School District and coached little league. I love being a father to my two awesome sons and I enjoy athletics and cooking in my free time. I am practical and eclectic therapist combining elements from theoretical orientations such as cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy to help clients of all ages. The vast majority of my clients report that they had a good experience working with me and describe me as experienced, professional, friendly, kind, helpful and effective.

I’m a husband and dad to three boys (ages 16, 13 and 8), and family is a huge part of my life. We live on a 20-acre homestead where we raise chickens, goats, pigs, and cows, and we spend a lot of time in the garden. Life on the farm keeps me grounded and reminds me daily of the value of patience, hard work, and slowing down to enjoy what really matters. Faith and community are also central for me. I’m actively involved in my church, and I see my work as an extension of that calling to walk alongside others. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial streak. Alongside my therapy work, I am starting a tech start-up, I’ve run an online store, and I even dabble in Bitcoin mining. I enjoy the challenge of building things from the ground up and thinking outside the box. I also read a lot, and my libertarian leanings have been shaped by writers like Murray Rothbard. The conservative/libertarian focus on freedom, personal responsibility and low time preference connects deeply with how I approach life and therapy: we’re at our best when we are free to live with responsibility in society, own our choices, and pursue truth apart from coercion. When it comes to therapy itself, I integrate my faith with practical, proven methods. I use Christian Counseling, CBT, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and the Gottman Method to help people grow emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. My goal is to give you a space where your values are respected, your faith is honored, and you feel equipped to face life’s challenges with hope and clarity. If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the importance of faith, family, freedom, and practical tools for change, I’d love to walk with you on your journey.

I am a licensed professional clinical counselor and have worked in the mental health field for over 25 years. I would love the opportunity to work with you in achieving your personal growth goals. I use an eclectic approach, pulling from several evidence-based practices, thinking that you cannot have too many tools in a therapeutic toolbox, trying to tailor my approach to the individual needs of each client. I offer a wealth of information from the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years working with preadolescents throughout adulthood. I have experience with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma disorders, attachment issues, substance use disorders, inattention, impulsivity, and much more. Hi there! I'm Tammy, a clinical counselor licensed in Ohio with over 25 years of experience in the helping profession. Three years ago, I realized my dream by founding Hearts To Minds, LLC, my private practice. I'm driven by a deep passion to inspire and provide a safe space for others. My mission is to empower individuals who are committed to helping themselves. Ms. Harmon-Rodriguez obtained Trauma-Focused CBT and Motivational training through the State of Ohio. She started her career as an MH Social Worker in 2002, working with dually diagnosed adults and children, which inspired and sparked her interest in the specialization of the dually diagnosed and family systems with evidence-based and cognitive-based treatments. She has dedicated herself to providing comprehensive care for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This early experience ignited her passion for delving into the complexities of dual diagnosis, leading her to specialize in evidence-based and cognitive treatments tailored to individuals and their families.
