People often describe me as accepting, empathetic, and real — with a sense of humor that helps therapy feel approachable and genuine. My goal is to create a space where you feel both supported and challenged as you work toward your goals. My approach blends humor, honesty, and evidence-based strategies to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns (like cognitive distortions) and promote self-acceptance. Whether you’re hoping to manage stress, improve relationships, or reconnect with your sense of worth, I offer a safe, affirming space to do meaningful work — and maybe even share a laugh along the way. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy. If something here resonates with you, send me a message — I’d be happy to talk about how we can work together.
In our first session, we'll begin by starting to get to know one another. I'll answer any questions you have about therapy and the process, along with questions about myself and my process. And I'll get information from you about the concerns you're having. In the first couple of sessions, I'll work with you to identify a couple areas you want to work on and what changes you'd like to see happen.
My strengths are the ability to build relationships with the clients I see. I also believe that humor is one of my strengths and allows you and I to communicate in a real, authentic way to help you learn about yourself and grow into the person you want to be.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship issues, and life transitions. I have a special passion for supporting men’s issues, women’s issues, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. No matter who you are or what you’re facing, I aim to help you uncover your strengths and build confidence in your authentic self.
Using CBT enables me to work with clients to understand their thoughts and feelings, and working on changing how they are responding to them.
Working with clients to identify current stressors and goals, and developing solutions to help them see results as quickly as possible.
I believe that when clients are able to learn to be compassionate towards themselves, it can be a game changer in how they relate to themselves and the world around them.
Each client is different, so having various treatment modalities allows me to meet clients where they're at and determine what would be most helpful for them.
Enabling clients to learn the tools of Mindfulness gives them the ability to work on increasing their ability to emotionally self regulate and increase their distress tolerance.
