New to Grow
My name is Morgan and I am an independently licensed social worker. I work full time as a therapist as well as help people with Crisis Services. My main focus is adults with a trauma history but I have worked with all different types of mental health symptoms such as bipolar disorders, OCD, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and severe mental health as well. I have worked with ages from 8-91. My personality is very calm and relaxed. I like to make most of my therapy sessions into conversations instead of constant questioning. I give my Clients the space to talk freely about any problems they are facing and work with them on an action plan.
For the first session I always want to get to know my Clients! We will begin to build our therapeutic relationship and see if you feel like we are a good fit for each other! I like to create a list of goals with my Clients so we can get an idea on what issues you would like to tackle first.
I feel that my approach stands out because I have had Clients that have told me that they feel calm coming into my office and say they do not feel judged. I am a therapist that loves to give my Clients the space to communicate what they need to but I am not afraid to challenge my Clients as well as hold them accountable for their actions.
My dream Clients are Clients that wish to process their trauma(s) and Clients that are willing to put in the work to reach their goals. I also help people with life transitions, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, OCD symptoms, mood dysregulation, psychosis, etc. I love to work with Clients that take therapy seriously and want to actively participate in order to feel better in their day to day life.
