New to Grow
My approach is down to earth. I meet you where you are. I listen for what you do not say. I strike a balance between accepting you just as you are but gently motivating you to implement sustainable change that you can feel proud of. I am comfortable in spaces that feel embarrassing. I bring life experience into the therapy session in the way in which I show up for you.
The first session is me hearing your story which may feel like we are not getting anything done, but I will check in with you to see if there is one small thing we can get accomplished so the session felt like you have achieved something.
I understand what it feels like to poor, happy, hurt, healthy, hopeful, nervous, scared, heartbroken and restored. While I may not self disclose the details, I can resonate with your feelings. I may blurt out an, "I know that's right" and you will know that I am living in the moment with you.
