New to Grow
With over 30 years of experience in the mental health and addiction fields, I provide a seasoned, compassionate perspective for adults and teenagers navigating complex trauma, sudden loss, and emotional dysregulation. My easy-going approach is designed to remove the mystery from therapy, lowering your anxiety as we work through significant life transitions together. We move beyond mere symptom management toward true integration, utilizing evidence-based tools like EMDR and DBT to build lasting resilience and a reconstructed sense of self.
Stepping into therapy for the first time can feel like a lot, so I like to keep things as straightforward and relaxed as possible. My goal for our first meeting isn't to quiz you or fill out endless forms—it's just to get to know you and make sure you feel heard.

EMDR
Trained in 2020. I have used this as a regular part of treating clients. This helps clients process and integrate traumatic memories, effectively reducing the distress and physiological arousal associated with a past experience.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
To help clients with mindfulness, emotional regulation, to manage distressful events, and improve interpersonal relationships.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps clients recognize how their thoughts and emotions directly drive their behavior. Often, our thinking can become clouded by cognitive distortions—unhelpful patterns that lead to problematic outcomes. By identifying and addressing these distortions, we can shift perspectives to improve behavioral outcomes and strengthen emotional regulation.
Integrative
Using a variety of methods to help the client manage symptoms.
