Being on my own life journey, it is easy to resonate with your struggles and appreciate your reaching out. Fear, doubt, and anxiety/depression are often apart of this life and it is important to connect with others in order to address them when they become stuck places. Then, they become the fuel for your better way forward. This has been true for me having experienced mental illness within my family growing up and therefore I feel confident that I can help you with your unique self and life.

We will discuss your presenting challenges and clarify your priority outlook and then establish your initial plan, an agenda that addresses your concerns.

I am an affirming, energetic and solutions focused Therapist noting your strengths and zeroing in on empowering you forward. Clients usually find significant relief within 4x sessions and progressively thereafter.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am a practical therapist integrating Mindfulness based CBT/DBT to keep your treatment focused and moving forward. Strength building (Positive Psychology) is important in order to support and promote your native strengths.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Helping you focus on your values and life goals and empowering your behavior forward toward them is primary. Along the way, addressing obstacles like include anxiety/panic depression, attention deficit, loss/grief, life transition, Chronic illness/pain, relationship struggles and stress management.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Helping you develop practical skills and the confidence that comes with them to manage emotional distress and internal overwhelm, while empowering you toward your positive life goals.

Motivational Interviewing

I will meet you where you are and always encourage your process at your pace. We can discuss plans oof action and support you to move there in your time.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy
