I have over 15 years of experience working with people of all ages, races, and social classes. I have worked in the clinical setting, in the community, in K-12 education, at secure facilities, and in residential programs. I gained this experience growing up and attending undergrad in Wisconsin. I then moved to Atlanta, Georgia, were I attended graduate school. I worked in the school system in Atlanta and in Madison Wisconsin. I also lived abroad in South America for two years during covid. My current focus is on private practice and working in suicide prevention with Veterans at the VA Hospital in the Denver Metro Area.

I am a bi-lingual and bi-cultural Licensed Certified Social Worker who received her Masters in Social Work from Boston College. I've worked with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, stress disorders, adjustment, relationship challenges, trauma, and mood disorders. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 12+ years of experience. My specialties consist of psychosomatic illnesses, relationships, and career counseling. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, initially working with the teen/young adult population. I then transitioned over to adults as I pursued my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Whether it's individuals, couples, or the geriatric population, I'm happy to get to work with whomever comes my way. I do my best to facilitate a warm, trusting environment. I am a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges and find healing and growth. Anxious and seemingly uncontrollable thoughts, "imposter syndrome", endless struggles to be perfect, only to be met with guilt and regret; all uncomfortable things that we humans try to avoid and control, yet all of that avoiding and controlling just doesn't seem to do any good. I leverage 14 years of clinical experience as an adjunct professor in clinical social work and as a therapist in the public and private sectors in Canada, the US and Australia to assist my clients. I am a well traveled surfer, climber, author, entrepenuer, and musician and I enjoy spending time in my backyard that is the central coast of California, exploring all that it has to offer.

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in MD (initial license), and been licensed in 8 other states (AZ, CO, ID, NE, NV, VA, UT), actively practicing for 16 years, helping adults with anxiety, self-esteem, anger issues, gaining coping skills and strategies, discussing different perspectives and insights toward self, relationships with others, and their situations. I have been working with adults with existential crises, issues with motivation, and communication challenges effectively. Additionally, I like working with older adults and adults who are going through phase of life changes. Right now, I am pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and doing externships for neuropsychological assessment and therapy. I'm interested in helping older adults and assessing mild cognitive impairment and dementia. ***Due to my externship hours and schedules, along with starting my internship in September, my availability is extremely limited and subject to change frequently. I cannot provide long term therapy. I cannot accept new clients when my internship starts in September this year.
