New to Grow
Seeking support can feel like a big step, and my goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood. I primarily work with adults, especially those ages 45 and older, who are navigating life transitions, grief, stress, anxiety, depression, caregiving responsibilities, and changes in relationships, health, or daily life. Together, we focus on building practical tools, increasing self-understanding, and finding ways to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and support.
The first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable working relationship. We will talk about what is bringing you to therapy, what challenges you have been facing, and what support might look like for you. You do not need to have everything figured out before you start—we will work through it together.
I believe one of my greatest strengths is creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself and talking about difficult things without fear of judgment. Life transitions, loss, caregiving responsibilities, and the challenges that come with different stages of life can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to provide a warm, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. My approach is collaborative, practical, and individualized, focusing on what matters most to you while helping you navigate life’s challenges with support and understanding.
I am best positioned to work with adults, particularly those ages 45 and older, who may be navigating life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, caregiving responsibilities, or changes in health, work, and family roles. I strive to provide a warm, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work together toward practical coping strategies, greater self-understanding, and meaningful, lasting change.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. My approach is collaborative and individualized, using interventions such as cognitive restructuring, coping skill development, psychoeducation, and behavior change strategies to support clients in reaching their goals.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop greater psychological flexibility by increasing awareness of thoughts and emotions while reducing struggle with difficult experiences. My approach focuses on mindfulness, values exploration, acceptance strategies, and behavior change to help clients build meaningful, values-driven lives.
Experiential Therapy
I use experiential therapy techniques to help clients increase insight and emotional awareness through active, hands-on experiences. My approach may include role play, guided exercises, reflection activities, and other experiential interventions to help clients process emotions, develop new perspectives, and support meaningful change.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness-based therapy techniques to help clients increase present-moment awareness and develop healthier responses to thoughts, emotions, and stressors. My approach incorporates mindfulness practices, grounding techniques, and self-awareness strategies to support emotional regulation, coping, and overall well-being.
Integrative
I use an integrative therapy approach by drawing from multiple evidence-based treatment methods to meet each client’s individual needs, goals, and preferences. My approach is flexible and collaborative, combining interventions from different therapeutic models to provide personalized, client-centered care.
