New to Grow
Hello! I am an LPC-MHSP in the state of TN. I am also fully licensed in both MS and CO. I have over 13+ years experience in the Mental Health field working within a variety of settings. I’ve always been deeply passionate about seeing others thrive and succeed. As my life experiences unfolded, that passion only grew stronger, shaping my desire to serve others and support them in building resilience through life's toughest challenges. I've also long been fascinated by the "why" behind human behavior, which led me to combine these two passions into a life of service-helping others step into and operate at their highest potential.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will be a time of introduction to the therapeutic process and getting to know one another. I'll ask several questions to gain a better understanding of your background, experiences, and what brought you to therapy. I know first appointments can be nerve-wracking, but we'll get through it together, one step at a time.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
As a Provider, I provide a compassionate, judgment-free space where you can safely explore personal challenges. Together, we examine the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build practical skills that support meaningful, lasting change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to serve clients who are seeking support and guidance on navigating life. Starting therapy is a courageous step, and I honor you for choosing yourself. Prioritizing your healing and growth is powerful. If you’re ready, let’s connect and explore supportive, practical strategies to help you navigate challenges, build resilience, and create a life that feels balanced, meaningful, and authentically yours. You deserve it. I am best positioned to serve clients who are feeling anxious, depressed, or emotionally overwhelmed by life's pressures and are ready to take control. My philosophy is progress over perfection as clients tackle difficult challenges, one goal, one choice, one moment at a time.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In our work together, I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to help you understand the powerful connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By identifying unhelpful patterns and learning practical tools to shift them, you can create meaningful, lasting change. With over 13 years of experience using CBT, I’ve seen how even small changes in thinking can lead to significant improvements in mood, relationships, and daily functioning. Together, we’ll build skills that empower you to respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and control.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
A person-centered approach is the foundation of my work and guides how I view and support each client. I consider it the cornerstone of my practice, creating a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued. Through unconditional positive regard, empathy, and compassionate support, I strive to foster a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore challenges, identify barriers, and work through difficult experiences at your own pace. In this space, your voice leads the process, and your growth unfolds in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
