I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor, and I spent over 30 years walking alongside people though some to the hardest moments in their lives. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward- you're not alone. I work with people facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and recovery from substance use, helping them find their footing again. My approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), along with mindfulness and motivational techniques. More than anything, I focus on meeting you where you are- with respect, compassion, and without judgement. Together we'll build practical skills to help manage emotions navigate challenges and create real lasting change. My goal is to offer a space where you can feel safe, heard, and understood... and where we can work together to build a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and truly worth living

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, the focus is really on getting to know you. We'll talk about what bringing you in, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping might feel different in your life. There is no pressure to share everything all at once- well going at a pace the feels comfortable for you. I will ask some questions to better understand your history, your strengths and challenges you've been facing. We'll also begin to identify what your goals might be, even if they're not fully clear yet. You can expect a space that is respectful, nonjudgemental, and collaborative. I'll also share a bit about how I work, including how I use approaches like DBT and mindfulness to help build practical skills. By the end of the first session, we'll have a clearer sense of where to start and how we can move forward together. Most importantly, my hope is that you will leave feeling heard, supported, and a little less alone.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor with over 30 years of experience in the field. What I cherish most about this work is the connection I build with each person. I bring decades of experience, not just in clinical skills like DBT, but in compassion and a steady belief in people's capacity to grow. Whether you're facing addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or feeling lost, I'm here to walk alongside you-offering a safe and warm space where you'll be heard, understood, and empowered to make real changes in your life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am positioned to serve clients who are navigating significant life transitions such as recovery from addiction, relationship challenges or struggles with anxiety and depression. Clients often report feeling stuck or ambivalent, and they need a safe, collaborative space to explore their values and goals. By using a blend of motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and DBT techniques I help then build intrinsic motivation, resilience and coping skills. In this way, I support them in reducing stress, overcoming barriers and building a life worth living.
