I’m Dr. Claudia Nuñez a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. I believe therapy is not about reliving pain for its own sake. It is about understanding what your suffering has been signaling, and bringing that understanding into the present so you can live with more clarity, self compassion, and choice. Many of the people I work with feel caught in anxiety and overthinking, people pleasing, guilt, burnout, or a deep sense that something needs to change but they cannot quite name what. Others are moving through grief or life transitions that have shaken their identity, relationships, or sense of direction. Some are navigating a spiritual calling or values shift, and feeling both pulled toward meaning and exhausted by the weight of it all. My approach is integrative and evidence based, with Internal Family Systems as a foundational framework. We work with symptoms and patterns as strategies that once helped you get through something difficult. Together we identify what those strategies have been protecting, understanding your unique history, what you truly need now, and how to respond in ways that feel more aligned and sustainable. Alongside talk therapy, I incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and narrative reflection so insight becomes change you can feel in real life. When helpful, we use grounding and breath practices to support nervous system regulation, not to bypass pain, but to build steadiness and stay present with what is true. My style is warm, collaborative, trauma informed, and culturally responsive. We move at a pace that respects your boundaries while supporting meaningful growth.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, facing relationship challenges, stuck in cycles of anxiety or depression, or caught in negative patterns, support is here. Seeking therapy can feel intimidating, but it’s a brave and important step toward change. Recognizing you can’t keep doing the same thing over and over is admirable, and having a dedicated support person can help you tap into your inner strengths. Together, we’ll explore new ways to navigate challenges and create outcomes. We all carry the answers within us—sometimes it just takes a fresh perspective to see them clearly. Let this be the moment you choose happiness. My approach is rooted in a CBT framework but is always guided by your personality and needs. You’ll learn tools and techniques tailored to you and your stage of change. With 17 years of experience, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share openly, receive thoughtful feedback (and sometimes homework!), and move past obstacles. In our sessions, you can expect warmth, compassion, and evidence-based strategies to help you break free from the habits holding you back. Sensibility, empathy, and a touch of humor are among my clinical strengths. Working collaboratively, we’ll uncover what’s blocking your progress and build a path toward positive, lasting change. It would be my honor to support your journey.

I started out as a kid from Queens, NY who volunteered on the weekends working with individuals with autism while I was in high school. That propelled me into the world of social services. From there, I worked with individuals with severe psychiatric concerns, to families in need throughout NYC, the shelter system, students in higher education, residential group homes for system impacted adolescence and community mental health in the Southern California region. I believe we all have our stories from lived experiences that play a direct role in our daily struggles. This is why I utilize a psychodynamic & mindfulness approach that helps folks to understand what factors of their past feeds the stressors of their present and how to live more freely in the “now”.

My ultimate aim is to equip clients with practical, yet powerful skills and tools that empower them to live life with confidence, peace and trust. I offer a holistic, personalized approach that embraces body, mind, and spirit. I am certified in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, working with ketamine (KAP). Hello! I’m Brenda De Monge, a passionate Marriage and Family Therapist with over 21 years of experience in community mental health. Helping and supporting youth, parents, & individuals from various cultures & socio-economic backgrounds affected by trauma. When working with trauma, sexual, physical, emotional, and domestic violence, my number one priority is safety & meeting my clients where they are, by supporting them & reaching their goals. I use these treatment methods: • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In my practice, I have used CBT to help clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. CBT is effective in understanding how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact with one another. We can implement this in therapy to help you live a less anxious and stressful life. • Trauma-Focused CBT is a short-term therapy designed for children ages 3-18 who have experienced various types of traumas, including physical, emotional, & sexual abuse. When working with young children, the parents/caregivers are key, as they provide ongoing support. By attending sessions, parents will gain a deeper understanding of the root causes of the issues. Over the past 20 years, I have worked with families using this model, & it has been helpful to them. • Seeking Safety is a treatment approach I have used with clients for more than 15 years. It assists individuals dealing with trauma & addiction by emphasizing safety and coping skills. • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) has proven to be a helpful approach in easing obsessive thoughts, reducing intrusive memories, & empowering clients to stay calm while learning ways to handle future challenges and symptoms. Since 2019, I’ve supported children, teens, & adults in managing their post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, & panic disorder through EMDR. In addition, I’ve helped clients with war-related trauma & child sexual assault.

I support my clients through issues such as trauma, depression, and anxiety. I understand trauma as something that can stem from single events, repeated experiences, or complex family and relational dynamics, often layered over time. Depression and anxiety are often shaped by how we come to see ourselves through our relationships and experiences in the world. You don’t have to navigate this alone. My goal is to help you find clarity, relief, and a deeper sense of yourself along the way.

Hi there! Nice to meet you. My name is Ryan and I am really glad you are here. I’m not your stereotypical “sit and nod” kind of therapist—I like to keep things real, down-to-earth, and maybe even a little fun when it feels right. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without fear of being judged or “too much.” I work with both teens and adults, using a person-centered approach that focuses on you—your story, your strengths, and your pace. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, or figuring out life as a neurodivergent person in a world that doesn’t always get it, we’ll work together to make sense of what’s been heavy and find ways to lighten the load. I’m here to help you understand yourself better, build self-trust, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and authentic. Therapy with me is a mix of empathy, honesty, and humor. Some days it’s deep reflection; other days it’s simply finding a moment of calm in the chaos. I believe growth doesn’t have to mean changing who you are—it’s about reconnecting with who you’ve always been. Outside of sessions, I’m usuall spending time at the gym, with my dog that I am training to be my service dog, my latest crochet project, thrifting, mindfulness exercises or in my own therapy. If you’re looking for a therapist who’s approachable, open-minded, and genuinely invested in helping you feel understood, I’d love to meet you.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with adults and adolescents who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addiction, relationship challenges, and anger issues. I am passionate about helping clients access their inner strengths and live from their Best Self—the part of them that embodies resilience, clarity, and compassion. I hold a Master of Arts in Spiritual and Counseling Psychology, and my clinical training includes work in community mental health, psychiatric and addiction treatment as well as my private practice where I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and growth-oriented environment. I believe that each person has the innate capacity for healing, growth, and transformation, no matter the challenges they face or the pain of their past. My goal is to help clients release self-defeating thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors that interfere with emotional and spiritual well-being. My therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and shift unhelpful patterns, Mindfulness and Acceptance-Based interventions to foster present-moment awareness and self-compassion, and Humanistic and Existential perspectives, inviting exploration of meaning, authenticity, and purpose, as well as somatic awareness to support mind-body integration and stress regulation. Together, we work collaboratively to help you access your inner wisdom, develop new coping tools, and move toward a more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling life.

Hi, I am a licensed clinical social worker in northern California. My primary background experience is in helping clients to regain/increase control over their mental health, via developing increased insight/understanding of symptoms, identifying and utilizing coping skills, developing positive support systems, and increasing ability to problem-solve/navigate challenges. I have worked with adults in multiple settings, including those experiencing active crisis within acute locked psychiatric care, clients coming into outpatient clinics for mental health services and counseling/groups, clients utilizing substance use disorder treatment individually and in groups, and adult clients with developmental disabilities in the group home setting. Professionally, I've also worked both as direct care staff as well as in management and supervisor roles, and have also mentored undergraduate and graduate students. I'm looking forward to meeting you and offering you support. *** At this time I am unfortunately only able to meet with clients at the top of each hour. This is in order to maximize the number of clients I can meet with during each week. Thank you for your understanding. ***
