My name is Rachel Sartin, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Heart & Hustle Counseling. I specialize in trauma therapy and sex therapy, and I am deeply passionate about helping individuals and couples heal from the lasting impact of traumatic experiences. At Heart & Hustle Counseling, I work with individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected after trauma. I understand the unique pressures of these roles and strive to create a safe, respectful space where healing can happen without judgment or shame. I also specialize in working with couples, helping them move through relational ruptures, rebuild trust, and reconnect emotionally and physically. Whether couples are navigating betrayal, disconnection, or the effects of trauma on intimacy, I support them in restoring closeness, improving communication, and fostering long-term growth. I believe healing is possible—even after profound pain. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and rooted in compassion. I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, and major life transitions. My work is grounded, relational, and deeply attuned to the nervous system, with a focus on helping people feel safer in their bodies, clearer in their minds, and more connected to themselves and others. I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy, meaning I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Instead, I draw from relational, psychodynamic, somatic, and polyvagal-informed frameworks to tailor therapy to your unique history, strengths, and goals. For many clients, our work involves understanding emotional patterns, healing the impact of past experiences, and learning practical ways to regulate stress and overwhelm in daily life. A central part of my work is creating a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I move at a pace that respects your readiness and capacity, especially if you’ve experienced trauma, medical challenges, or long-standing stress. Alongside deeper insight work, I often incorporate psychoeducation and concrete tools so therapy feels both meaningful and useful beyond the session. Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and deeply present. My goal is not to “fix” you- I fundamentally believe that you're not broken ( and we haven't even met yet). My job is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your inner resources, and build a life that feels more regulated, connected, and aligned. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and begin meaningful change.

As a therapist dually licensed in counseling and substance use treatment, I believe every person carries unique strengths, stories, and untapped potential. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, EMDR, DBT, IFS, ACT, Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and practical life-skills development. I’m passionate about helping clients understand how early experiences and relationships shape the way they see themselves, navigate challenges, and connect with others—and I’m continually inspired by the powerful ways therapy, supported by neuroscience, can help the brain and body heal. Outside the therapy room, I find joy in traveling, lifelong learning, reading, and cherishing time with my friends and family. Anxiety & Sleeplessness Fear, insomnia, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we work towards increasing sleep time, decreasing panic or anxiety attacks or symptoms, fully understanding where overwhelming emotions stem from, and how to move towards being your best self. Relationships Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both partners and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship. Trauma and Healing Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after post-traumatic events. We work together through these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Hi, my name is Mark. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. It would be my pleasure to get to work with you! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist; that means that not only do I work with individuals who experience all kinds of mental health challenges, but I also specialize in systemic, or relational therapy - working with couples, families & groups. I am a Presidential Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. If you want your faith included in your therapy, please let me know; your sessions will be as "spiritual" as you'd like, and no more. I have been providing therapy and counseling since 2016, and most recently worked as the therapy manager for a clinic that has four locations. Though I have worked with all populations (youngest 5 years old and oldest 94), young kids have trouble sitting still in front of a camera. Children under the age of 15 would be better served in an office setting, in my opinion. I have been with my amazing wife for over 35 years now, and have two wonderful adult children. I enjoy sports, music and all kinds of "outdoorzie" stuff. I most of all just enjoy time with my family. Most of my clients profess to sincerely enjoy working with me; I tend to connect with my clients on a deeper level, and in a more meaningful way, than some other therapists. Many say that they or their children work better with me than any other therapist, counselor or doctor they've experienced. I am humbled and immensely grateful for their kind words. I offer my clients a soft place to fall in their hurts and struggles while providing them a firm place to stand in their healing and growth. Always, in a judgment-free way.

My name is Elizabeth and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the states of Texas and Arizona. I am also a certified school counselor and transitioned to full-time mental health counseling after working as a high school counselor. I have been working as a counselor for 10 years, primarily in the school setting. I helped my students with issues such as family problems, academic struggles, relationship issues, trauma/abuse, ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, grief, and suicidal ideation. Before working as a counselor, I was an elementary teacher for 6 years. I have experience working with adults and adolescents. I love seeing my clients understand themselves better and improve their mental health. I feel comfortable counseling people from a variety of backgrounds, especially those whose backgrounds are different than my own. My entire professional career has been spent with a primarily Hispanic population, but I am comfortable with other cultures, as well. I am a big fan of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Solutions-focused therapy, but I try to cater my counseling to each client, so I often incorporate different counseling philosophies as needed. I believe my clients are the experts on their own lives and I want to work with them to improve their contentment, coping skills, and mental health. I believe it is important and beneficial to have a nonjudgmental, unbiased person to talk to. This is one of the best parts of counseling. I often use humor to lighten the mood when counseling. I find this helps grow my relationships with my clients. Congratulations on making the first step towards getting help. I would love to work with you.

After 30+ years in executive roles at leading hospitals and health systems—including Kaiser Permanente, Mount Sinai, and Northwestern Memorial—I’m thrilled to launch my private therapy practice. My career has always focused on helping people thrive, whether by supporting families and or individuals during tough times or developing talent. I grew up in Chicago’s Rogers Park, shaped by its culture and my father’s resilience as a Holocaust survivor. His stories taught me empathy and strength—values I bring to every client interaction. I hold an MSW from Loyola University, am licensed in AZ, FL, IL, KY, NM, and WV, and earned an MBA from North Park University plus an executive management certification from USC. Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience providing individual and couples therapy, with a focus on women’s emotional wellness and relationship concerns. I work with women who find themselves stuck in recurring relationship patterns, struggling with self-worth, or feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of balancing work, relationships, caregiving roles, and personal needs. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, while also grounded in evidence-based practices. Together, we explore emotional and relational patterns, strengthen communication and boundaries, and develop practical tools to support greater clarity, confidence, and balance. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, relationship stress, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy offers a space to slow down, gain insight, and create meaningful change. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Assumption College. I also complete ongoing continuing education to stay current with research, clinical best practices, and effective treatment approaches.

Hi, I am a first generation Hispanic American daughter of immigrant parents. Growing up as the oldest daughter of immigrants I have had some huge barriers in my life that brought me to become a counselor to help others with difficulties in their lives. I love helping others be able to overcome their barriers and become empowered. I love helping people with anxiety, ADHD, self esteem, life transitions, and marginalized individuals.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience helping people navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity questions. My style blends depth-oriented therapy — exploring the deeper patterns and stories that shape you — with practical, evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I spent nine years on the Boulder Crisis Team, providing psychiatric evaluations in ERs, jails, and walk-in clinics, which taught me how to stay calm and effective in moments of distress. In our work together, we’ll use both insight and skills — helping you understand the roots of your struggle while learning concrete ways to regulate emotions, change unhelpful patterns, and create a more meaningful, resilient life.

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by Arizona rather than a city like Phoenix?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Arizona. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Arizona from Tucson to Mesa! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Arizona.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What happens during the first therapy session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
