I'm a licensed clinical social worker with 11 years of experience helping children, teens, and families navigate anger, ADHD, trauma, and conflict. My work blends attachment-based theory, trauma-informed care, and CBT with play and art-based techniques when helpful.

We'll talk through what brought you in, what's felt hardest lately, and what you're hoping changes.

I tailor every session to your unique needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all script, so you always feel like an active partner in your own growth. I know reaching out can feel vulnerable — my goal is to make you feel heard from the very first conversation

First session

This space is entirely yours, and there is no pressure to have everything figured out. Here is what you can expect as we begin our work together: • You set the pace: We will go only as deep as you are ready to go. You are always in control of what you choose to share and when you choose to share it. • A judgment-free zone: Whatever burdens, messy dynamics, or chaotic feelings you are carrying, they are welcome here. My role is to understand and support you, never to judge you. • A collaborative partnership: You are the expert on your own life. Think of me as a steady ally walking alongside you to help make sense of the heavy things, uncover your strengths, and navigate the path forward together.

Strengths

Expect a warm, no-pressure conversation. We'll talk through what brought you in, what's felt hardest lately, and what you're hoping changes. There's no judgment here — just space to be honest and start building a plan that works for you and/or your family.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is anyone—whether an individual, a couple, or an entire family unit—who is feeling overwhelmed by life's competing demands and is ready to break free from reactive, high-stress cycles. I am deeply drawn to working with people who find themselves at a crossroads, whether they are navigating lifes stressors, managing neurodivergence, complex trauma, or trying to repair strained relationship dynamics. I partner with parents—particularly those experiencing the profound transformations of motherhood and parenthood—who are trying to balance the demands of a busy household while managing sensory overload, guilt, and their own mental well-being. Whether working with an individual or a full household, I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We design realistic, sustainable strategies that honor how your unique brain works, reducing friction points in your daily life.

Treatment methods

Play Therapy

Virtual play therapy adapts traditional, child-centered clinical techniques for the screen by blending specialized digital platforms with physical items the child has at home. Because children naturally communicate through play rather than passive talking, virtual play therapy transforms telehealth into an active, interactive experience

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an action-oriented, collaborative form of therapy built on a simple but powerful premise: your thoughts, your feelings, and your behaviors are all deeply interconnected. When life gets stressful or complex, we can easily get trapped in negative cycles where a single unhelpful thought triggers an uncomfortable physical feeling, which leads to a reactive behavior that reinforces the original thought. CBT helps you slow down, step back, and systematically untangle this loop so you can choose a different path forward.

Narrative

Narrative therapy is a compassionate and empowering approach built on the idea that you are the author of your own life, and your problems are entirely separate from who you are. Narrative therapy helps you step back, examine the stories you've been telling yourself, and rewrite them so you can reclaim your personal power.

Trauma-Informed Care

When you have experienced prolonged stress, overwhelming life challenges, or complex trauma, your brain and body adapt to survive. In our work together, we use two distinct but deeply connected frameworks to help you heal safely: Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Trauma-Focused CBT

While Trauma-Informed Care is the compassionate, safe atmosphere of practice, Trauma-Focused CBT is the specific, structured toolkit we use to help process the trauma.
