LCSW, 14 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi, I’m Ebonie. I’ve been a therapist for 14 years, and my style is down-to-earth, compassionate, and real. My goal is to create a safe, honest space where you can finally resolve the issues that are weighing you down. I don’t just sit back and nod — I’m engaged, I ask meaningful questions, and I help you get to the heart of what’s really going on. Every client is unique, and I adapt my approach to fit your needs. Whether you’re working through anxiety, healing from trauma, facing a life transition, or simply feeling stuck, I’ll bring both practical tools and proven methods to support your growth. Above all, I show up consistently and authentically, and I never take your trust for granted. One approach I use is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). It’s a highly researched therapy that helps people process painful memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming. With gentle tools like eye movements or tapping, your brain can reprocess old experiences in a healthier way. The memory doesn’t disappear, but the emotional weight it carries often does. EMDR has been shown to help with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and more. We always go at your pace, and I’ll walk with you step by step. Book an appointment today.
Your first session with me is a simple, open conversation in a safe and confidential space. I want to hear your story, understand the bigger picture of your life, and see what’s been weighing on you. Together, we’ll explore your needs, identify challenges, and I’ll offer guidance and resources to help you start moving toward your goals. I may suggest a new book for you to read, a website to view, or a practical educational YouTube video to gain insight. It's interactive, relaxed, and based on your needs.
My approach to therapy is results-driven and focused on helping clients feel relief from symptoms of anxiety and depression as quickly as possible. I use evidence-based methods like EMDR, CBT, and DBT skills to support healing, especially when working through trauma. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual, because no two people’s needs are the same. I don’t believe therapy should take years to see progress—my goal is to help you feel better, build effective tools, and get back to living your life with more ease and confidence.
My ideal clients are women ages 18–65 who are navigating transitional seasons of life—whether it’s starting school, marriage, parenting, divorce, retirement, or aging. As a woman myself, I deeply understand the unique challenges women face, and I’m passionate about supporting them through these shifts. In our work together, I help women process past traumas, validate their struggles, and find practical solutions to the problems that feel overwhelming. The goal is for you to step into a stronger sense of confidence, reconnect with your purpose, and live as the fullest version of yourself—for you, your children, and the life you’re building.
