I am a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have been licensed for a little over a year but have been practicing for 10 years under supervision working in private practices. I was an elementary school counselor for 3 years. My experience includes working with adolescents, teenagers and adults providing crisis, case management, group therapy, play therapy. I help individuals work through, life stressor, improve self esteem, coping skills, anxiety and depression and school concerns.
I am here to provide support. I want to help you feel supported and gain the understanding and skills to be the person you are looking to be. The first session is about building rapport but also offering a listening ear.
My greatest strengths are providing active listening, reflection and validation without judgment. I am here to support you. I want to provide you with the tools/skills you need to manage unhealthy emotions and thoughts along with the ability to understand and problem solve challenging situations.

My preferred treatment method is cognitive behavioral therapy because it gives individuals the opportunity to change the way they think about a concern.
