New to Grow
Hello, I'm Ashley. I am glad you're here. My practice is helping my clients understand what are root causes of how they are feeling. Once this is processed, we begin the journey of healing. I take a holistic perspective, looking at all factors that can cause individuals, couples or families to feel unwell. I provide psychoeducation to consider all areas we can attempt to improve, to overall feel better. I am trained in trauma, specializing in Attachment therapy as well as EMDR. I have worked with individuals, couples and families- across many different settings. Some of these settings include: private practice, outpatient, day treatment, residential treatment, incarceration settings, elementary to college settings. I hope I can bring some support and walk with you through the journey of healing.
Our first session will include me gathering historical information through a bio-psycho-social assessment which will help determine the areas to offer support, some of which may be known to you, others we may discover through this process. I will inform you of the next steps, including treatment options, duration and work with you on a plan that will help you the most.
I have a relational approach to all my clients, and with this forming the therapeutic rapport is critical for you to be able to begin trusting me. This trust will begin offering healing and guidance that will help us meet your goals in therapy.
I have worked with clients that have experienced a variety of circumstances that bring them to therapy. A significant amount of my care has been through relational trauma, health concerns, couples challenges, loss of identify, grief, compound trauma. I enjoy helping those discover what else may be making them feel unwell, and with this I like to provide education and resources to discover more of a healing journey. I enjoy a collaborative approach as I find this empowering for my clients and being able to turn challenges into strengths.
