Hi! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in Colorado and Texas. I received my Masters from the University of Texas - El Paso and have been practicing for over 15 years. I believe that every person has the capacity for resilience and change. Whether you're looking to overcome specific challenges or simply seeking support, I am here to help guide you on your journey toward a more fulfilling life.
Welcome. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 13 years of experience working alongside individuals as they build resilience, deepen self‑understanding, and move toward meaningful change. My practice is fully telehealth‑based, serving clients in both Texas and Oregon.
I come from humble beginnings, and much of my early life was shaped by being the person others naturally turned to when they were struggling. Over time, I realized that my ability to listen deeply, offer steady support, and hold space for people in their hardest moments wasn’t just part of my personality — it was pointing me toward my calling.
Hi there! Welcome and thank you for stopping by! I am an experienced child, adolescent, and adult counselor, dedicated to helping my clients cope with anxiety, depression, anger, grief, PTSD, and stress. I have been practicing in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor for 5 years. I believe the therapeutic relationship between a client and therapist is pivotal for healing to occur. Feel free to reach out, whether you have questions, concerns, or are ready to take the next step toward your holistic healing and personal growth. I'm here to help!
I earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland. Additionally, I received a secondary Guidance Certification from Villanova University. I am a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor and have worked in a broad range of settings for over 28 years.
I believe that the best clinical practice is an evidence-formed, eclectic model whereby the therapist adjusts to the needs of the client. I strive to provide clients with an opportunity to explore their inner selves, their relationships with others and their innate striving for wholeness, creativity, and well-being. Therapy can increase overall sense of well-being, build stronger coping and problem-solving skills, strengthen one's resiliency and determination, change behavior, and build stronger interpersonal relationships.
The establishment of a trusting relationship between the client and therapist is of utmost importance to be able to work together to build a skill set to adapt and overcome life's most difficult challenges in order to create a fulfilling life. Regardless of a client's clinical needs, it is imperative to determine their support system and focus on the encouraging aspects of those relationships in helping the client become more resilient and set on a positive path in life.
Hi, I’m Amanda Boone, MA, LPC, LCDC. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship struggles, substance use recovery, severe stress, and major life transitions. A lot of the people I work with are used to being the strong one for everyone else while silently falling apart behind the scenes. Others come into therapy feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward.
My approach to therapy is direct, compassionate, trauma-informed, and very human. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be honest without feeling judged, analyzed, or talked down to. I’m not the type of therapist who just sits quietly nodding for an hour. I actively engage with clients, provide feedback, challenge unhealthy patterns when needed, and help people develop practical tools they can actually use in everyday life.
I utilize evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed care, while also adapting treatment to fit each individual rather than forcing people into a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe healing is not about becoming perfect. It is about understanding yourself better, learning healthier ways to cope, improving emotional regulation, and building a life that feels more stable, authentic, and manageable.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially if you are used to handling everything on your own. My goal is to create an environment where clients feel supported, understood, challenged when appropriate, and empowered to make meaningful changes that support long-term growth and emotional well-being.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New Jersey, working with both children and adults navigating ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, generalized anxiety, depression, and OCD. Whether you're struggling with emotional regulation, racing thoughts, burnout, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, we will work together to better understand what’s going on and develop practical tools to help you move forward. My approach is active, direct, and solution-focused. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model; therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to your specific needs and goals. I integrate evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and supportive therapy to help you build skills, increase insight, and create lasting change. I also recognize that starting therapy (or starting over) can be a big step. I aim to meet you where you are, while gently challenging you toward growth in a way that feels manageable and realistic. If you're looking for a therapist who is engaged, practical, and focused on helping you see progress, I’d be happy to connect

As a therapist, I strive to create a supportive, authentic, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood, and I value building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, empathy, and collaboration.
My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and adaptable to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I understand that every person comes into therapy with different experiences, strengths, and challenges, so I aim to meet clients where they are while helping them build practical tools for growth and healing. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered techniques to support clients in developing insight, emotional regulation, healthier coping skills, and confidence in themselves.
I enjoy working with young adults and adults who may be navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, identity exploration, relationship difficulties, or feelings of being overwhelmed or stuck. My goal is not only to help clients manage current struggles but also to empower them to better understand themselves, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
Above all, I want clients to feel that therapy is a space where they can be themselves without fear of judgment while receiving support, encouragement, and guidance throughout their journey.

I have 6 years of culminative experience working with clients who are survivors of domestic violence, people who are recovering from substance use, and individuals with serious mental illnesses. Treat others the way you want to be treated is the motto I live by. I want to be treated kindly, I want to be heard and I want to feel I matter. This is how I will treat you, without strings or hesitation.
I have a story just as you do. I have been lucky to choose a career that has enabled me to know when I need to talk to someone, enabled me to learn and use coping skills that work and has also enabled me to see the beauty through the broken pieces.
Growing up I was a nosey child, I always wanted to know the "why", I still do! This personality trait led me on a path where I have been able to meet people from all walks of life, people who seemingly burned every bridge walked over, people with no hope as well as people who just were going through a rough patch. All these individuals have helped me become the person and the therapist I am today.
I am truly excited to hear people’s story, restore faith and be the constant in people’s lives. Give me a chance to hear your story, you are not alone!

I chose to change careers late in life. It has been a wonderful decision. I am able to help people in their daily lives be happy.
I attended SMU Counseling Program in Plano from 2010 to 2013. I was privileged to complete my practicum and internship at the Resource Center in Dallas. I requested this opportunity so I could help as many people as possible. This was not standard procedure, but I was allowed to do the unusual.
I believe clients simply want to be happy. They want to make their choices in life without guilt or shame. Everyone deserves that freedom. I hope that I can help people facilitate that life.
I am happy to share techniques that provide acceptance that allow people to not be impacted by the judgmental world in which we live.
Please give me a call and see if we connect and if you feel comfortable and safe speaking with me.
’ve felt called to become a therapist since I was nine years old, and that sense of purpose has stayed with me ever since. I began my career in a community mental health setting, where I worked closely with individuals experiencing severe mental illness and learned the importance of practical, real-life coping skills. That experience continues to shape my approach today—I focus on helping clients build insight, develop tools they can actually use, and feel more confident navigating their relationships and daily lives.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy slowing things down and staying grounded through gardening, crocheting, and camping. I’m also a big reader—especially when it comes to romance novels. Family is a central part of my life, and I value the many roles I hold as a wife, mother, stepmother, and grandmother. Raising both boys and girls—including twins—has given me a wide range of life experiences that help me connect with clients from all kinds of backgrounds.
I am a licensed independent practice-level clinical social worker. I have a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work DCSW. I have dedicated my career to working in behavioral health treatment. I have worked within the Department of Defense Schools in Europe and Asia. I have worked with Active Duty members, Veterans and their families. I have provided clinical supervision within both the Department of Defense headquarters and at the Veteran Affairs hospital, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Prior to joining the Civil Service, I practiced mental health within the civilian community, my focus there was substance abuse, domestic violence and and a variety of mental health issues working with adolescents and adults. My strongest ability lies in helping a client identify strengths and weaknesses while guiding them to identify goals and interventions that will work specifically for them. The most challenging part of therapy is believing it will make a difference. The best way to overcome that hurdle is to see successful outcomes.
Clinical experience has taught me that if you are willing to do the work, you will see results. Using the appropriate interventions, combined with mutual openness, respect and trust will enable you to overcome obstacles and achieve goals you didn't believe possible. Through years of dedicated work with all age groups, life experiences and extremely challenging circumstances, I have developed a strong sense of commitment in creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing, self-awareness and growth.

Hi! I’m Jimmy Secoy, a Licensed Professional Counselor. My work is grounded in the belief that people aren’t meant to go through life’s hardest moments alone. Therapy, to me, is a place where you get to slow down, breathe, and be fully heard — without judgment and without pressure to “have it all together.”
Clients often describe me as accepting, approachable, and empathetic. I bring a calm presence to the room, but I’m also not afraid to gently challenge patterns that keep you stuck. My goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly and build the tools you need to move forward with confidence.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, chronic pain and/or chronic illness. My professional career began as a certified American Sign Language Interpreter in 2001 and quickly progressed into earning a Graduate degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. My training provided the experience needed to work in a community mental health clinic providing high quality mental health care to residents in Austin, TX for 6 years. My interests in whole health led me to San Antonio to work with chronic illness, transplant, and geriatric care for roughly 10 years. Along this journey, I have had the opportunity to work with multinational clients seeking refugee services, worked as the Associate Director for Student Accessibility Services at a private university and currently involved in a fulfilling career as a counselor to veterans of our Armed Forces.
I enjoy staying busy. On my time off, I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my friends and family, always searching for my next adventure.

Hi, my name is Mark. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. It would be my pleasure to get to work with you! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist; that means that not only do I work with individuals who experience all kinds of mental health challenges, but I also specialize in systemic, or relational therapy - working with couples, families & groups. I am a Presidential Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and served as a Chaplin, at a hospital. If you want your faith included in your therapy, please let me know; your sessions will be as "spiritual" as you'd like, and no more.
I have been providing therapy and counseling since 2016, and most recently worked as the therapy manager for a clinic that has four locations. Though I have worked with all populations of al ages, young kids have trouble sitting still in front of a camera. Children under the age of 15 are better served in an office setting.
I have been with my amazing wife for over 37 years, and have two wonderful adult children. I enjoy sports, music and all kinds of "outdoorzie" stuff. I most of all just enjoy time with my family.
Most of my clients profess to sincerely enjoy working with me; I tend to connect with my clients on a deeper level, and in a more meaningful way, than some other therapists. Many say that they or their children work better with me than any other therapist, counselor or doctor they've experienced. I am humbled and immensely grateful for their kind words.
I offer my clients a soft place to fall in their hurts and struggles while providing them a firm place to stand in their healing and growth. Always, in a judgment-free way.
