New to Grow
I’m Britanie Walker, LCSW, founder of A Touch of Hope LLC. With over 15 years of experience in mental health and substance use treatment, I bring a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. I believe in creating a safe, judgment-free space where adults can show up exactly as they are and feel truly heard and supported. My style is collaborative and grounded in respect, meeting clients where they are in their journey. Together, we work to explore challenges, build on strengths, and develop tools for healing, growth, and lasting change. My goal is to help you rediscover hope at your own pace.
Your first session is all about getting to know you and creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and the goals you’d like to work toward. I’ll also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, and overall well-being to better understand your experiences. This session is a judgment-free space where you can share at your own pace. You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly where to start. Together, we’ll identify your needs, discuss how I can support you, and begin developing a plan tailored to your goals. My approach is warm, collaborative, and compassionate, with the intention of helping you feel empowered and hopeful on your healing journey.
I bring a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental approach to every session, creating a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued, I offer a balance of empathy, clinical expertise, and practical strategies to support meaningful change. I meet clients where they are, recognizing that healing is not one-size-fits-all. My strengths include building genuine therapeutic relationships, helping clients identify patterns, fostering self-awareness, and empowering them to develop healthy coping skills. I am collaborative, culturally responsive, and deeply committed to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with confidence, resilience, and hope.
