Hi, I’m a licensed clinical social worker and a trained psychotherapist. I am licensed to practice in Virginia. I help clients resolve symptoms of anxiety, depression, posttraumatic, stress disorder‘s, and childhood sexual trauma. On the lighter side, I help people who are struggling with making life decisions such as careers, relationships becoming more focused and sports performance. Ultimately, I want to help clients optimize their life.
In your first session, the object is to learn a little bit about you, and what brings you into our service. I will ask you some basic questions to prepare goals and objectives around how to meet your desire to discontinue a behavior, a feeling or thought. This first session is the foundation of the great work that we will be doing together.
Having worked with in mental healh for many years, my greatest strength is in developing meaningful rapport and recognizing the strength in every client. This helps me to pivot the client in a direction that’s most beneficial and optimal.
I love working with clients who are eager to change the way they think or feel. I am best at working with people who feel stuck.

With this therapeutic approach I am able to allow individuals to see and experience different perspectives that will shape a new way of thinking and feeling.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I am an experienced in multiple therapy models and enjoy the ease of resolving emotional issues such as grief, anxiety, depression and PTSD.
