I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S)-Supervisor, with extensive experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My work is grounded in compassion, honesty, and collaboration. I believe therapy should feel both safe and purposeful. I bring a warm, down-to-earth approach while helping clients gain insight, build emotional regulation skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels realistic and respectful.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is focused on understanding you, your concerns, and your history, and what you hope will be different as a result of therapy. We will discuss what brought you in, explore relevant background information, and identify your immediate priorities. I will also explain how I work, answer any questions, and collaborate with you on initial goals so we are clear about the direction you want to go in from the start. This is a judgment-free space, and you are never expected to have everything figured out. We will take it one step at a time, together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths are clinical insight, clarity, and the ability to meet clients where they are while gently guiding them forward. I balance validation with accountability, helping clients understand patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and develop practical tools they can use outside of the session. I draw from evidence-based approaches while adapting treatment to each individual, focusing on emotional regulation, trauma-informed care, and real-life application. Clients often share that they feel both supported and empowered, understood, without being enabled, and that therapy with me feels focused, meaningful, and results-driven.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to work with adults (ages 18-110 years old) who are seeking clarity, emotional stability, and meaningful change. My ideal clients may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD symptoms, relationship difficulties, or feeling "stuck" during a major life transition. They are open to self-reflection, willing to engage in the therapeutic process, and interested in developing insight, coping skills, and healthier patterns, not just short-term relief. I work well with clients who value honesty, structure, and collaboration, and who are ready to take an active role in their healing and growth.

Sometimes someone may need help processing their grief, be it 1 day, 1 month. or over a year, Loss of anythig, anyone may be traumatic and help may be needed to regain a sense of balance in life.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Being present in the moment can be a helpful tool to help minimize stress, anxiety and depression. This may mean practicing guided imagery, special breathing techniques, or other skills/ activities.

Great in depth sessions, Sandra takes time to listen and really understand the situation you’re dealing with. Creating treatment plans to work on issues outside of therapy and achieve personal goals. Absolutely enjoy our sessions and highly recommend her to others.
