I have worked in inpatient and outpatient clinics and college counseling centers. My specialty is working with college students and young adults. I am a LGBTQAI ally. Transitions are an amazing time in our life of growth, self reflection and of course, anxiety and depression. I will provide space for you to process and understand your emotions.
My speciality is also working with individuals struggling with addiction whether it be to drugs, alcohol, gambling, eating, video gaming etc. I view addiction as behaviors we do to the extreme that are causing us problems. As a therapist I have over 30+ years experience working with clients with depression, anxiety, loss, family, LGBTQ and relationship issues, coping with illness and stress, and other various life concerns. My counseling approach combines CBT, psychodynamic and talk based counseling. I have vast and varied experience with all age groups as well as the varied life issues that we all face.
