My journey into therapy was not just academic. It was deeply personal. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my primary therapeutic approach because it is a well‑established, evidence‑based method for reducing clinical symptoms and supporting meaningful change. I use CBT in several ways to help clients deepen their understanding of how their thought patterns influence their emotions, behaviors, and daily functioning. This framework allows clients to build insight, develop practical skills, and create more adaptive patterns in their day‑to‑day lives.
Positive Psychology
Positive Psychology is another core approach I integrate into my work, as it centers on cultivating strengths, resilience, and a deeper sense of well‑being. I use this framework to help clients identify what is already working within them, expand their capacity for joy, and build habits that support emotional flourishing. By focusing on strengths, values, and intentional mindset shifts, clients learn to create more empowered narratives and experience greater fulfillment in their day‑to‑day lives.
Psychodynamic
Psychodynamic Therapy is another foundational approach I incorporate into my work, as it helps clients explore the deeper emotional patterns and early experiences that shape their present‑day thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. Through this lens, clients gain insight into unconscious themes, unresolved conflicts, and long‑standing relational dynamics that may be influencing their current well‑being. By bringing these patterns into conscious awareness, clients are able to understand themselves more fully, break repetitive cycles, and create healthier, more intentional ways of engaging with their inner world and the people around them.
