Welcome! As a telehealth therapist, I meet clients virtually across New York to create a supportive space where real change can happen. Over the years, working in both inpatient and outpatient care has given me a deep appreciation for meeting people from every background and life story.

Over the years, working in both inpatient and outpatient care has given me a deep appreciation for meeting people from every background and life story.

I work best with teens (15+) and adults who are motivated and eager to put in the work toward healing. My practice centers on working with ADHD, anxiety, and boundary setting. With my history in inpatient, I understand and always consider a trauma-informed approach.

First session

After the first session I’d hope that you feel lighter and like this might work! Therapy should never feel like a chore or a burden.

Strengths

In sessions we will get raw and real. I’ll encourage you while also holding you accountable. You’ll get real feedback and learn new tools to question your own thoughts. Therapy with me will feel more like a conversation, rather than an interview.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is someone who feels overwhelmed by anxiety, caught in cycles of overthinking, or struggling with the lasting effects of past experiences. They may find themselves constantly on edge, having difficulty feeling safe, or questioning who they want to be in their current stage of life. Ideally, clients are ages 15+ and not “mom-dated” as I like to call it. Therapy works when you’re willing to put in the work! I’m comfortable starting with identifying your own goals. I typically work with clients with anxiety, ADHD and/or have experienced trauma. I love exploring thoughts and often use a CBT approach to therapy.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Imagine your brain is like a little storyteller. It tells you stories (often exaggerated ones) about what’s happening around you, to you, and/or because of you. This little storyteller is convincing and often gets you believing thoughts that aren’t true. For example, imagine you text a friend and they don’t text you back. Your brain might say, “I knew they wouldn’t answer I knew they didn’t like me!” We tend to believe the worst or jump to conclusions that are fed by fear, rather than fact. CBT helps us stop this negative cycle. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps us slow down, get curious about our thoughts, and minimize the power this negative storyteller has over us. Think of it as learning how to be a little kinder to yourself and becoming the boss of your thoughts instead of letting your thoughts be the boss of you.
