New to Grow
I’m Brittany, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor focused on perinatal and postpartum mental health. I help women navigate postpartum anxiety, mood changes, relationship stress, and the pressure to “hold it all together.” Therapy with me is a space where you can speak openly about what you’re really feeling—without judgment, guilt, or the expectation that you should be handling everything perfectly.
In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you and what kind of support would actually feel helpful right now. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, calmer, and with a clearer path forward. You deserve support during this stage of life—and you don’t have to go through it alone
I bring a unique blend of therapeutic skill and real world resources of support. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in mental health as a care coordinator, which mean I naturally think about my clients from an intersectionality lens. I'm always looking for resaources, tools, and supports that can help clients gain more stability, feel empowered, and connected outside the therapy room. My approach is culturally responsive, trauma informed, and grounded in identity. I create a safe affirming space for you to both learn and grow.
Im best positioned to support women who are navigating life transitions, identity shifts, emotional overwhelm, or patterns there ready to break. My clients often describe me as warm, validating and easy to talk to-someone who creates a safe, grounded space where they can be fully themselves. In our work together, you can expect a balance of compassion, humor, cultural understanding, while also gently challenging the behaviors and beliefs that keep you stuck. My goal is to help you build trust, strengthen your emotional awareness, and move toward a life that feels aligned, intentional, and well. I'm especially aligned with clients who want to grow, are open to reflection, and are ready to start the inner work with a therapist who is both supportive and firm when needed.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My approach is warm, practical, and trauma-informed. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with supportive insight and coping tools to help you reduce anxiety, manage overwhelming thoughts, and reconnect with a sense of confidence and stability during this transition.
