I also love music and love to play the organ, piano, and guitar.
I was a non-traditional student and received my bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology in 1996 from East Stroudsburg University, then raised my own three children for a while. I returned to school and completed my master's degree in Social Work in 2020 from Capella University. I currently hold an LCSW in PA. I have taken many additional trainings in Trauma-informed counseling, DBT, EMDR, and of course crafts/painting. I tell all clients I meet for the first time the same thing: 'finding a therapist is like trying on a pair of jeans or a pair of shoes, they can all be the same size, but they all may fit a bit differently. One may be too tight, too big, or one you just might not like for a reason, and you don't really know why.' The only way to truly know is to try it on and see how it feels.
