Hi there! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in both Colorado and Massachusetts. I received my Master's Degree from the University of Denver School of Social Work in 2021 and my undergraduate degree from NC State University where I also competed as a division 1 athlete. I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress management, grief & loss, and sports performance.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The primary goal of the initial session is to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where clients can begin to feel comfortable and at ease. I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so the first session is designed to be the most predictable and low-pressure. During this time, I focus on getting to know you, your story, your strengths, and the challenges that have brought us together. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, review any important background information, and discuss what therapy might look like moving forward. There is no expectation to share more than you’re ready to, the pace is guided by your comfort level. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and more confident about the therapeutic process and our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a clinician is my ability to build trust and develop strong, meaningful connections with clients. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and comfortable showing up as their authentic selves. Feeling truly heard and understood is central to the work I do. I bring a calm, steady, and supportive presence into sessions, which many clients find grounding, especially during moments of vulnerability or stress. I am intentional about listening deeply and ensuring clients feel validated and understood. My background as a Division I athlete also strongly informs my strengths-based approach to therapy. Through my own athletic experience, I understand the importance of resilience, commitment, and self-awareness, as well as the pressure that can come with striving for high performance. I use this perspective to help clients recognize their existing strengths, build confidence, and work toward unlocking their full potential - both in therapy and in their everyday lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals ages 18+ as well as current and former athletes from a compassionate, welcoming, strengths-based, and supportive approach. I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to show up as they are. My work is collaborative and flexible, allowing me to meet clients where they are while honoring their unique needs, goals, and lived experiences. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and somatic-based modalities to support insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful change. This integrative approach allows us to explore thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the body’s responses while building practical skills and fostering greater self-awareness. My goal is to help clients move toward lives that feel more aligned, balanced, and values-driven.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy has played a pivotal role in my practice. I want to help clients relate differently to their thoughts and emotions so they don’t get in the way of living a meaningful, values-based life. The goal isn’t perfection or constant happiness—it’s flexibility, growth, and forward movement.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT has been part of my foundation from the very beginning. My goal is to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. By learning tools to challenge unhelpful patterns, clients can gain a greater sense of control, confidence, and emotional balance.

Somatic

I value using Somatic Therapy to help clients understand how stress and emotions show up in the body. By learning to listen to physical cues and regulate the nervous system, clients develop a stronger sense of stability, presence, and control.

Supportive

Supportive Therapy will always hold space in my modality toolbox. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to process life’s challenges while strengthening coping skills and emotional resilience. My focus is to make sure clients feel heard, supported, and understood while navigating change.
