New to Grow
My current focus is working with adults on a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and general life stressors that have become overwhelming. I assist with processing events, healing from emotional pain, and learning effective coping skills. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the State University of NY at Oneonta and then a Master's Degree from Sage Graduate Schools.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session will be mostly gathering background information and motivational interviewing to determine current symptoms and areas the client would like to work on. I will provide psychoeducation about therapy and share best-practice methods to treating the current concerns. After a couple of sessions goals will be determined collaboratively, along with specific action steps to completing those goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I offer a warm, supportive space to help you heal, find balance, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll explore how trauma, stress, and nourishment affect your mind and body, and create gentle, lasting change. You deserve to feel grounded, whole, and at peace. I’m here to help you get there.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My approach to working with clients is collaborative as the goals and treatment focus depend on their current symptoms and what they are seeking help with. I have been trained in trauma focused therapies to reduce the impact of trauma. I also use motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness techniques to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. Client centered and solution focused
