LMHC, 6 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi, I’m Victoria Pass, LMHC, a Black therapist, wife, mother, and proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community with over 5 years of experience. I provide telehealth therapy to adults in Massachusetts, offering a trauma-informed, empowerment-based space for healing, growth, and self-acceptance. My approach integrates existential therapy, CBT, and a strength-based lens to help you explore meaning, build resilience, and create lasting change.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust and safety. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what you hope to work on, and what’s most important to you right now. We’ll explore your background, current challenges, and goals at a pace that feels comfortable. I’ll also answer any questions you have about the therapy process so you feel informed and supported as we move forward together. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
My greatest strengths as a therapist include creating a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen and valued. I bring a warm, compassionate, and grounding presence, helping clients explore their experiences with curiosity and self-acceptance. I’m skilled at integrating insight-oriented exploration with practical coping strategies, supporting clients in both understanding themselves more deeply and making meaningful, empowered changes. My approach is deeply culturally responsive and honors each client’s unique story, values, and identity.
My ideal clients are adults who are ready to explore their stories with honesty and self-compassion. Many are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or trauma recovery, and are seeking a safe, affirming space to process their experiences. I especially enjoy working with clients who: Are seeking purpose or direction and want to align their lives with their values Struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, or people-pleasing patterns Identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, or are parents, caregivers, or helpers supporting others Desire to build self-acceptance, confidence, and resilience through insight and action Together, we focus on empowerment, authenticity, and growth, helping you feel more grounded and connected to who you truly are.
In my practice, I integrate existential therapy to help clients explore meaning, values, and personal responsibility. I support clients in examining how they relate to themes such as freedom, choice, identity, and mortality, and how these influence their emotional experiences and decision-making. By fostering awareness of their authentic self and life purpose, clients are empowered to make intentional choices that align with their values and create a greater sense of fulfillment and direction.
I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. Together, we explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions, and develop practical strategies to promote healthier coping, balanced thinking, and meaningful behavioral change. This approach empowers clients to build insight and create lasting shifts in how they respond to life’s challenges.
I integrate a strength-based approach to help clients recognize and build upon their inherent resilience, skills, and inner resources. By focusing on what is working well and amplifying existing strengths, clients gain confidence and a deeper sense of empowerment to navigate challenges, achieve goals, and foster personal growth.
