I'm Essy, a licensed therapist and coach who works best with folks who feel like outsiders in a world built for sameness. I support neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ adults navigating identity, trauma, burnout, and the pressure to mask or overperform. With equal parts warmth and real talk, I help clients make sense of their story, rewrite the rules they’ve been handed, and build a life that actually fits.
Our first session is all about getting real, not performing. You don’t need to have it all figured out. We'll talk about what’s bringing you in, what’s feeling stuck or heavy, and what you’re hoping will shift. I’ll offer a grounding presence, maybe a reframe or two, and we’ll co-create a space where you can start showing up as your full self:no masks, no fixing, just clarity and curiosity.
I’m deeply human in the room: compassionate, curious, and not afraid to name what others avoid. My strengths lie in offering warm, grounded presence alongside honest reflections and big-picture insights. I blend evidence-based tools with real-world relevance, integrating psychoeducation and coaching-style feedback to help you get unstuck. Clients often say I make them feel both deeply seen and gently challenged—in the best way.
I’m here for neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ folks who are tired of having to explain themselves, manage other people’s discomfort, or “tone it down.” My clients are often deep thinkers, high feelers, and meaning-makers who’ve been pathologized, dismissed, or misunderstood. Many are carrying the weight of complex trauma, identity struggles, executive dysfunction, or people-pleasing burnout. If you’re craving a space where you don’t have to mask, where your sharp insights and contradictions are welcomed—not pathologized—I’ve got you.
I draw from my lived experience as an autistic, ADHD, LGBTQ+ therapist to apply a strength-based approach in my practice, focusing on affirming clients' unique identities and empowering them to leverage their strengths for growth and resilience.
