LICSW, 20 years of experience
I have a history of working with clients in community and university clinical mental health settings. I have an interest in complex trauma and how that has shaped a person's sense of self. My goal is to work with clients to improve quality of life, reduce shame and guilt and provide a senes of overall self compassion and self worth.
The first session is really to get to know the client better, what brought them to therapy now and to see if we are a good fit.
I feel that my goal is to really understand what the client's experience has been and beginning to see patterns that have proven useful or less useful in their development.
I enjoy working with people of all ages, race and gender identity.

So far, so good. I would check all of the boxes if we weren’t limited to two boxes. Very open minded, asks good questions, patient and attentive. A good fit.

The kindest and most nonjudgmental therapist I've talked to. Solution oriented, but still so validating and aware of how tough things can be.

I like that Meghan has a history working with people with complex backgrounds. She's friendly, respectful and direct. This was our first session, but I feel this experience will continue with these traits.
