I've been blessed to have wonderful professional positions throughout my career (see roderickhaferphd.com). Most recently I was Vice-Chair of the Psychiatry Department at the University of Wisconsin. I enjoy working with all client presentations and believe that the "connection" with those I treat is critical to therapy success. I think a 15 to 30 minute free consultation would be the best approach to determine "our fit" in working together.
As a somatic psychotherapist and longtime creative, I bring together psychology and lived, embodied experience. My background as an actor, writer, and director shapes how I work with the unfolding story of self as it’s felt in the body—moment by moment. Therapy with me emphasizes curiosity, presence, and deep listening to what wants to emerge through sensation, emotion, and relationship.
I'm a therapist who works with individuals navigating addiction, men's issues, depression, and anxiety. I understand that life can feel overwhelming, stuck, or out of control—and that reaching out is a big first step.

Whether you're looking for support through a difficult time, clarity around a specific issue, or motivation to make lasting changes, I'm here to walk alongside you in that process—with honesty, compassion, and direction.

Hello, I'm Steve and kudos to you for embarking on this journey! For over 30 years, I have worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, low self esteem, and other issues. In addition to these kinds of issues, I will explore your strengths, wishes, goals, dreams, and your vision of your best self. As I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is important, I am committed to being a warm and authentic person when in sessions with you. To this end, I may share stories or lessons from my own life, may share observations or feelings in reaction to whatever you are doing or saying, and as appropriate, I like to infuse my sessions with humor, lightheartedness, and laughter (to balance off the frequent hardness and heaviness of therapy.) Looking forward to working with you.
I’m Osvaldo Santiago, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut, with over 10 years of experience supporting adults on their path toward greater clarity, healing, and self-acceptance. My work is grounded in the belief that therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, safe, and empowered, especially if you’ve felt overlooked, misunderstood, or disconnected in other parts of your life.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I bring a calm, nonjudgmental presence to the therapy room, and I meet you where you are- whether you’re navigating anxiety, cultural identity stress, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, life transitions, or past trauma.
In sessions, I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. These approaches offer structure and flexibility, helping us identify what’s getting in the way and build tools to support your growth and well-being. That said, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model, I stay adaptable and responsive to what you need most in the moment.
Outside of therapy, I value the same things I support my clients in cultivating: meaningful relationships, mindfulness, resilience, and space to breathe. I believe in showing up fully, both as a clinician and as a human being, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate whatever comes next.
Welcome! I am glad you took the time to devote and invest in your mental health. Kudos to you! This is a huge step and not be taken lightly. Thank you for believing in yourself to seek additional support.
I live in the beautiful sunshine state, Florida. I am licensed in the states of FL, D.C., MA, and MI. As a Christian, I believe in the gift of freedom. If you would like to incorporate Biblical principles within our sessions, we most definitely can. My therapeutic approach involves compassion, care, and understanding.
I received my masters from Northcentral University in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been practicing for 6 years. I have worked with individuals of all backgrounds. I help couples resolve conflict and increase intimacy and also help individuals struggling with a sense of self discover their strength, defeat their fears and challenges so they can achieve their goals and thrive.
My approach is a more holistic approach. I enjoy talking about not only what you are feeling, but also other factors (diet, sleep, activity levels, environmental factors, etc) that may add to why you may feel the way you do.
I believe true power is not about control — it is about clarity, self-regulation, and alignment. When you understand how dynamics operate, you can choose your responses instead of being driven by old wounds or unconscious habits.
Clients describe my style as direct, insightful, and empowering. Together, we build emotional resilience, strategic thinking, and a grounded sense of self — so you can navigate life with calm authority rather than fear or force.
I'm Essy, a licensed therapist and coach who works best with folks who feel like outsiders in a world built for sameness. I support neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ adults navigating identity, trauma, burnout, and the pressure to mask or overperform. With equal parts warmth and real talk, I help clients make sense of their story, rewrite the rules they’ve been handed, and build a life that actually fits.
I’m a licensed therapist and social worker with years of experience supporting adults as they work through life’s challenges and transitions. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based, goal-oriented approach that helps clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and strengthen daily coping skills. My style is warm and collaborative, creating a supportive environment where clients feel understood, encouraged, and equipped with tools for meaningful, lasting change.
After many years working in science, I got training in psychotherapy: first in psychoanalysis, then in powerful, evidence-based emotion-focused approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFCT/EFIT), AEDP and EMDR. This blend lets me speak to both your heart and your mind. Together we’ll figure out what approach works best for you—whether it’s deep exploration, emotional processing, or a more targeted skills based approach.
My goal in our sessions is to create a safe space between us—where you can feel truly secure enough to explore your own way of connecting to the world, to others, and to yourself.
I want this to be a place where being vulnerable doesn't feel risky, where emotions can come up without judgment, and where you get to practice being seen and heard exactly as you are. From there, we build the confidence and skills to carry that sense of safety into your everyday relationships and life.
If that sounds like something you'd like to try, I'm ready whenever you are. Reach out—let's start

Hello and welcome! I know that taking the first steps to reach out for support can be overwhelming and scary. There are so many options of therapists, how can you possibly choose the "right one"? I tell all clients I meet for the first time the same thing: 'finding a therapist is like trying on a pair of jeans or a pair of shoes, they can all be the same size, but they all may fit a bit differently. One may be too tight, too big, or one you just might not like for a reason, and you don't really know why.' The only way to truly know is to try it on and see how it feels. That may not be the pretty answer, but it's what I have found in my 10 years of experience to be true. So I invite you to simply try, and if it doesn't work the first time or second, try again, because once you find the right one, it's worth it. I hope I am the "right one" for you, and if I'm not, finding you the person who is the "right one" for you is extremely important to me, and I will do everything I can to help find that one for you.
