About me

Hello, my name is Peter. Have you been considering therapy for a while but been hesitant to make the first step? I have a gentle calming approach and we will work at your pace. I have a wide variety of experiences helping with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, burnout, and trauma among others. We can evaluate all areas or just focus on the present. I take pride in helping you to feel that you are in a safe and comfortable space to share the true feelings you have but are hard to speak out loud. Life is a journey and there are many unexpected obstacles that we are all susceptible to having those barriers derail us from the healthy place we desire to be. I can help to problem-solve and use evidence-based approaches and techniques to help get you back on track! I'm not here to listen to my own voice, I want to truly hear you and help empower you to grow in the ways that are best for you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I hope to give you a real tangible skill or thoughtful consideration about your journey from every session. After we conclude our work together this should mean you have a whole array of tools to pull from your coping skill toolbox for any given situation.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as a person-centered approach. I think there are many helpful parts to each approach and that the best practice is using what is the best fit for the client.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Everyone is different and different approaches are tailored specifically to each person to best suit the needs that are presented. I like a humanistic approach, in the beginning, to best understand the presenting issues and create a trusting and safe environment so that therapeutic work can take place.
