New to Grow
I am a Mental Health Therapist (LICSW, licensed in MA & CT), as well as a Certified Health and Well-Being Coach (NBHWC, ICF) with extensive background in behavior change and mental health. I have 30+ years experience partnering with people to thrive by mindfully focusing on their strengths and values, nourish their bodies and minds through lifestyle medicine, and using creativity, compassion, and resilience to work through tough challenges to make lasting change.
During our first session, I will do my best to get a solid, high level sense of who you are and why you are seeking therapy at this time, and your goals for therapy. I'll also try to give you a good sense of my approach and style. My goal is for it to be a safe, positive experience to answer all of your questions and feel comfortable and confident moving forward.
I take a personalized approach to working with every client. I will listen, reflect, ask powerful questions, hold you accountable, and offer a safe space for you to grow.
In addition to being a therapist with over 30 years of experience, I also have over 15 years of experience as a nationally and internationally Certified Health and Well-Being Coach. I am best suited for people who are ready to commit to therapy to gain insight, learn new skills, and develop a stronger and healthier relationship with themselves and others.
