My name is Glenroy Bristol. I am an English-speaking Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. For the past 18+ years. My approach to therapy is collaborative, evidence-based, and deeply centered on helping clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and practical tools for lasting change. As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist in private practice, I work with individuals, couples, and families to identify the patterns of thinking, behavior, and emotional responses that may be contributing to distress, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, low self-esteem, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges. I believe that thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, challenge distorted beliefs, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges. My therapeutic style is supportive, structured, goal-oriented, and compassionate, and it also encourages accountability, personal growth, and emotional resilience. I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress management difficulties, trauma-related concerns, relationship conflict, identity struggles, adjustment challenges, grief, self-defeating patterns, and difficulties related to life transitions. I also work with couples to improve communication, rebuild trust, strengthen emotional connection, and develop healthier relational dynamics. My approach is culturally sensitive, client-centered, and grounded in respect, empathy, and professionalism. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore difficult emotions while building healthier ways of coping and functioning.
