Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware but find themselves saying, “Logically I know this, but I still feel this way.” Together, we’ll explore the deeper emotional patterns driving anxiety, relationship challenges, and self-doubt. I also integrate EMDR to help process and shift patterns at a deeper level, supporting you in building self-trust, healthier boundaries, and feeling more confident in yourself and your relationships.

Hi! I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I graduated from Walden University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with specialization in Crisis and Trauma. I also attended the Northern Illinois University School Counselor Institute where I received my endorsement in school counseling. I have held certifications in Advanced Trauma Treatment for Children and Adolescents, Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I have been working with children and teenagers for over 25 years and have been in the counseling field for just over 6 years.

In counseling, I believe in meeting my clients where they are and helping them achieve the goals they set for themselves. I want my clients to realize the decisions they make have consequences, good and bad, and like to assist them to remain accountable for their decisions. It is important for me to look at the client as a whole, to help determine the course of treatment that will suit them best. I look forward to helping you reach your goals.

I will help you see yourself but in such a nurturing way you receive it, and it allows you to do your work. My gifting is in assessment and working with adults and couples. I have always worked in some form of mental health assessment in my career. Most recently I spent 5 years in Grady’s Psychiatric ER. Allowing me to quickly assess needs and develop a life plan with the client. Couple work is also a skilled area for me. Especially when communication has broken down evidenced by constant arguing. Therapy can break couples out of the destructive tit-for-tat cycle. Broken trust, infidelity and unforgiveness are also areas I specialize in. Women’s concerns and issues are important to me. I’ve done extensive work in healing their “father wound”. Tapping the spiritual relationship for healing. Topics include relationships, self development and growth. Another very successful service is my therapeutic walkthrough of popular books. Titles have included RC Blakes’ Queenology and Sophia Nelson’s The Woman Code. Currently, I am authoring The Majestic Woman Mindset, which comes from a woman’s empowerment curriculum I developed.
