Hello, I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I received my Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology at Troy University. I work with many clients who are struggling with a multitude of stressors, setbacks, and limiting self-beliefs.
I help my clients to manage their emotions effectively to free up their mind, so they are able to heal from past hurt that that is interfering with living at their greatest potential.
Years of experience working with these individuals along with my own life experience has provided me with the skill set needed to help my clients see light at the end of the tunnel.
First session
During my first session with clients, I allow them to paint the picture of what life feels like for them at this time. I ask them what they want changes they would like to see. Building rapport, trust, and respect is the framework from which I begin every therapeutic relationship.
Strengths
Throughout my years of practice, I help clients to recognize strengths and how to build upon them. I help my clients to manage their emotions effectively to free up their mind, so they are able to heal from past hurt that that is interfering with living at their greatest potential.
Ideal clients
I enjoy working with clients who recognize that there is room for improvement in their lives. These clients often describe something important missing in their lives. This often leads to feelings of overwhelm, worry, sadness and loneliness. I create a safe environment for my clients to explore their deepest emotions to get the answers they need to live more fulfilling lives.

Eclectic
Being trained in several methods and having experience practicing all of them, allow me to help my clients with a method that suits them best in accomplishing their treatment goals.
EMDR
In most cases, EMDR has helped clients to navigate past trauma and negative experiences and recover from them. The clients often report feeling more empowered and positive.
