LCSW, 4 years of experience
New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida with 4 years of experience supporting people through crisis, major life transitions, and the process of healing from trauma. My background includes working closely with veterans, adolescents, and trauma-impacted individuals, which has given me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges and strengths that each person brings to therapy. I use a strengths-based and client-centered approach, focusing on resilience and building on what is already working well in a client’s life. In our sessions, my goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I strive to walk alongside clients as they discover new coping strategies, heal from past experiences, and move toward personal growth and well-being.
In our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, your strengths, and any challenges you’d like support with. I’ll also explain how therapy works, answer any questions you have, and work with you to create a plan that feels comfortable and tailored to your needs. This first meeting is more about building trust and connection than going into deep work, so you can expect a supportive, welcoming space where you set the pace.
As a therapist, I bring a balance of compassion, experience, and practical skill to my work. My background in crisis response has taught me to stay calm and supportive in difficult moments, while my work with veterans, adolescents, and trauma-impacted populations has deepened my ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. I take a strengths-based approach, focusing on each person’s resilience and potential, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard, valued, and empowered to grow.
My ideal clients are individuals who have faced challenges yet continue to show resilience and a desire for growth. I understand the courage it takes to reach out for support and the importance of having a safe, steady space to heal and move forward.
I use a strengths-based approach in therapy, empowering clients by highlighting their existing skills and resilience, and helping them build on those strengths to reach their goals.
